86'd for life for using the restroom. No joke. Have had issues since a kidney surgery and there's no way I could have held it long enough to leave the store let alone find another restroom. Sign was up for cleaning but cleaning was done. A woman came in screaming swear words and threatening me and banned me for life. I was also shamed the entire way out the store by this hot mess of a nasty old woman who thought it appropriate to yell it throughout the store to the other customers. Had I had a chance to explain to someone before or after I would have done so. Had I peed myself in the store I'm sure the outcome would have been the same or worse; even more embarrassing. It was either use the restroom, or my pants in the store or possibly make it right outside the front door to urinate. Whichever way you look at it, I would have gotten yelled at and belittled. You'd think a store in a retirement town would be a little more understanding of an immediate need to use the restroom especially when you have a shopping cart full of items and are a weekly shopper. I have never been humiliated the way this completely disrespectful, belligerent, and loudmouthed neanderthal of a woman has done. I guess Michael's welcomes people regardless of their disabilities, with the exception of those with bladder or bowel issues like Celiac disease, Crohn's disease Hyperthyroidism, kidney disease, hormone disorders, Parkinson’s disease, spinal cord injury, peripheral neuropathy and other neurological kidney diseases and hormone disorders as they can all cause bowel urgency. Kidney diseases and hormone disorders as well as stroke, Parkinson's disease, diabetes, urinary tract infections, bladder cancer, bladder stones, Neurogenic bladder, cystitis, bladder spasms and MS can contribute to impatient bladder.

I often visit michaels and joannes for art supplies and mainly for inspiration!! I love just browsing the stores, seeing the cool crafts they have and getting great ideas to do at home!! I was totally embarrassed by the staff and will never return to this sequim location again. The other day an employee ignored other customers needing her help in order to follow my every step. When I asked her if there was a problem, she casually said no and continued to follow me. I pointed out to her that I didn't need her help but other customers obviously did and to please stop following me!! She then explained she wouldn't have to if I hadn't been in there stealing, but they have cameras to catch theifs so I was right, she didn't need to keep following me. As I was trying to make sense of her bogus allegations and finish up my shopping the manager approached me very upset and told me his employee felt threatened and I needed to leave or he was calling the cops?!? She obviously didn't feel threatened as she was stalking me throughout the store!?? I did nothing wrong and am still in disbelief at how i was treated!! The employees obviously dont know the diffrence in someone browsing and someone stealing. Both the associate and the manager handled this situation very poorly and i hope they get better training or...

And if you're shopping for spray paint, I'd suggest heading to home depot, Walmart or online personally.. Although the selection has lots of the familiar and unique paints and colors, the price tag is much higher for the same product at the other stores. Other than that, I recommend and quite enjoy Michael's craft stores! A great way to stay busy and festive anytime...
