I have only gotten delivery service lately and have only been in the store a couple times since covid. I can say the delivery service never disappoints me. The order is promptly shopped and I usually have my deliveries accurately within 30-45 minutes. Only once did an order arrive incorrectly, with a substitute that I was never consulted on or wanted. It is best to have the delivery driver wait until you check the order and can reject a wrong item. I live 17 minutes away in a rural area, and this is consistently the best way to get grocery items during the pandemic or if you are homebound. The small tip is charged when ordering, but there is no delivery fee if over the minimum order. The Instacart driver will leave the items by your door, so if you need to check the order be waiting for them. I ask them to set the bag inside if I think the bag is heavy. The only drawback is that not everything in the store is available for delivery, or I would give 5 stars. There is also a pickup choice to use the drive up pharmacy window, with more items available for that. It's a covered portico with a wide space to get out of line if needed. *Follow up review. I had an inaccurate order because one item was substituted without my authorization. There is now a website substitution button to turn...
Read moreI went here for a Covid booster. There was no one being vaccinated, no line and I was told I needed to call for an appointment. I went home, made a phone call and was told I could just come in, so I went back to the store. The assistant then asked the pharmacist if she wanted to give me a shot since I didn't have an appointment. It wasn't clear the pharmacist was going to agree until I said I had just called and been told to come in. Someone else in the pharmacy spoke up and verified that I had called earlier, so they agreed to give me a booster. It seems to me that more attention is paid to the nonpharmaceutical merchandise sold here than to the actual pharmacy business. The first aid supplies are in short supply but the candy isle is long and well-stocked. In a world pandemic, vaccination should be a priority and the idea of a pharmacy turning away someone who wants to to be vaccinated shouldn't happen unless there are a lot of people waiting and the schedule is completely full. While I waited for the pharmacist to set up to give me the booster, I was the only person there, and nobody was waiting when I left after the shot. They didn't mention I should wait 15 minutes after the shot. They gave me a sticker for my vaccination card and told me I...
Read moreI came to get a covid test and made an appointment. Got there at the exact time. 8 older people waiting. They tell me the pharmacist has to do it and check me in. Young man tells her and she snaps at him. I am told to wait. I ask where so I am not around all these people. They tell me by the over 50. I walk away looking for something that says over 50. Finally founda sign, no chair and still to close to people. I am feverish and standing in aisle away from people. Waiting. The lack of care from emoloyees for the older customers is scary. I keep having to move away from people. Health care in this Country is a joke. I asked the pharmacist after 15 min she told me she told corporate to turn it off and raised her voice. Told me to sit down. She said ypu can see what we are dealing with. A nice woman waiting found me a chair and pulled it away from others. After another 5 minutes pharmacist asked if I wanted to get in my car and do the test through the drive through which I did. I will wait for service, I do not want to be a culprit in getting others sick. I wore a N95 the whole time a they were annoyed when they...
