We have used the YMCA to go swimming and to work out over the years. It is a good place to take the family. It was a little overwhelming when all of the changes happened with the Pandemic. I was so excited when I heard that the YMCA was going to reopen. I wish that there would have been more positive public relations about the changes when the YMCA reopened. It is like you have so many memories of enjoying the YMCA as a family and all of the things that you could do before the Pandemic. Then it is like you were adjusting your expectations with the rules and restrictions during the Pandemic. But luckily, we got through that period. Read moreI went in to get a membership end of last month. The lady that helped me messed up the first time putting my info in and I was patient and I gave it to her a second time. I come to find out I've been charged twice and I go in to fix it. Girl at the front desk tells me I've been paying for someone else account which I haven't had an association with in years and tells me it's going to take 10 days for my money to get put back on my card. Read moreThe YMCA has determined but you must have a vaccination card to utilize their facilities. No one appears to have gotten sick at the YMCA so there is no justification for such an action. The YMCA is supposed to be there so that we can get the exercise and camaraderie in the community. They have taken the position as vaccine Nazis and they seem to believe that only the vaccinated should benefit from their facilities. Shame on them.
