Hobby Lobby was full of kind, helpfull and fun employees. The store was a welcoming environment. I had some questions and need assistance to find a certain style tree and decorations. An employee helped me sort threw so many ( what seemed like hundred) different styles. This store is full of so many things to help with your decorating project. Prices are reasonable. I would not say cheap but not outrageous either. I guess about what I expected.

This place is wonderful! *Warning* You will end up buying more than you came in for. It's so hard to resist all of the cute decorations! And the prices are pretty fair. When you get ready to pay, don't forget to go on their website or app and get the current 40% off the highest priced non sale item coupon code. It changes every week. Definitely worth it!

I went to Hobby Lobby to look for wall hangings for my. New master bath and master bedroom. I was pleasently surprised everything i bought was 1/2 off. I went back the next day and bought many more pieces. I love Hobby Lobby.

with much anticipation of waiting for the store to open. Finally, on the Friday of the soft opening, I wanted to go so bad but I had to work until 6PM that day. I was hoping that by the time I did get out of work at 7:25PM that the store would still be opened. To my surprise as I got closer I could see all of the lights still on and I know my heartbeat got a little faster, as I walked up to the door I noticed the store was going to be open till 8:00PM,I looked at my watch and it showed 7:36PM, I knew I had a few quick moments so I went straight to the jewelry supplies. I was looking at all of the beautiful colors of the beads staring at me but I was there for a specific item and I knew I didn't have long to look for it about that time an employee named Carolyn asked very kindly (after a very long and I'm sure crazy busy day for her) if she could help me. I let her know what I was looking for and she took me straight to it. So that gave me just a few extra minutes to look in the jewelry supply section. Carolyn continued to help me, as I asked for it. I couldn't have asked for a kinder person that was truly enjoying what she was doing, Carolyn made my very few minutes so much more enjoyable. The next day I came in was the day of your Grand Opening and I was off that day so I got to come in earlier and look around all over the store. I'm just so happy that I don't have to go as far as Morristown, Knoxville or Alcoa, living in Dandridge I did at least live in the middle of all 3 locations and would still drive to any one of them if I had to. Your new Sevierville location is so conveniently on my way home from work and I don't even have to cross the highway LOL. I have dabble in just about every craft at one time in my life and that also includes (self taught) stained glass. As I got in line to pay for merchandise, I struck up a conversation with a disabled Vet (dear to my heart) and just moved as the check out line moved, then when it was my turn to check out, I looked up to a friendly voice saying well, hello Cheryl (the first time i met Carolyn l had my name tag on from work) and it was Carolyn again, training someone on the register. Out of all the people that your store had in the first three days of being open, you have an employee that was kind, professional and made me feel welcomed from the very first time I met her, she also remembered my name, from the first night when I was in my work uniform (which people thought I was a pilot, but I am not) but the second visit I was in my street clothes. To me, Carolyn went above and beyond what is expected of retail and/or management. I also work in retail. Thank you to Carolyn for a great couple of visits and hopefully...

Our first ever trip to the Hobby Lobby in Sevierville TN and we were so excited. One of our neighbors was kind enough to give us a Cracker Barrel Gift Card. So, we had the trip all planned. Breakfast at Cracker Barrel then go to Hobby Lobby. My husband has a newly found interest in painting bisqueware and he was looking for some small kits to work on. We went in the store and it was beautiful then a man, who just looked very angry about something and a young girl asked if they could help us. We told them we wanted to look at some unpainted ceramics (because we didn't know what they were called) and they both said, very rudely, "what is that?", "I've never heard of that before!" So mean faced and rude!! Then I said "the little white ceramic pieces that you can paint" and he said "oh!" And escorted us to this sales area where they were. We said "thank you". They had a few pieces. Many of them were broken and one had only two ornaments in it were there were supposed to be four. Then when we go to check out, an elderly man who was too busy talking to the young cashier, asked me did I want to move to his register when I had already put all my stuff on the counter!! We should have just left when the rude, ugly, faces greeted us. We will never be back. They soured our experience and we will overspend our money elsewhere. These stores, and store employees should be taught to stop thinking about yourself for one day and think about the customer and how you want them to feel when they come into your store. Do you want them to be happy and come back or do you want your employees to treat customers so rudely that they would never return. I guess it's the difference between having a store in the shopping center or having an empty space....

I love Hobby Lobby, but the checkout experience last night was terrible. It's always slow, but I've always counted that up to the cashiers wrapping items before bagging, which I appreciate. But, yesterday, a customer had a return with 1 register open. The man helping her was nice but not sure it seemed of what he was doing and she had soooooo many items. The other man at the front, who it seemed his job was to stand and watch the cashier and call for more if needed, finally did call for another cashier. However, he let other customers just walk up to that lane before the woman who was next in line could get there, so she stayed where she was. The first customer in the new line had some problem purchase with a tax exempt or something and a a call went out for more cashiers and a manager. A third cashier opened another register. The first "manager" told the cashier to take the lady in the first line behind the refund first because she had been waiting the longest (1 point for him) then others swarmed behind her including people behind me in line. It took me longer to check out than it did to shop yesterday. People are so rude. No one gave one thought to the fact that they were causing such an inconvenience for anyone, only about their wants, because I'm not counting shopping at Hobby Lobby as a need. I love Hobby Lobby and I will be back but for Pete's sake... Just let me add, I had to ask an employee in the store the location of an item and she was so nice and the young lady who finally checked me out was exceptionally nice. Maybe some additional training on the front end...
