Warning, do not use Home Depot for installations: I paid extra for Home Depot to have their licensed plumbers (McRae Services in Knoxville) come out to disconnect the toilets in the home so their flooring installers could install the flooring and then have the plumbers come back to re-connect the toilets on top of the new floors. The plumbers didn't shut the water off completely in a second floor bathroom, which leaked through the entire bathroom, kitchen, ceiling below, and bedroom below. I have been left uninformed throughout the whole process of getting a resolution. After receiving a letter in the mail from the plumbing contractors which stated it wasn't their fault, Home Depots 3rd party company they use for their claims emailed me stating they stand by their plumbers. When you pay someone to disconnect a toilet, you would expect them to turn the water off completely and not leave any water leaking. If you want to see the kind of satisfaction their sub contractors have, look up their reviews and find more nightmares about their poor service. I have been left with thousands in water damage and on top of it, they don't even have the courtesy to speak to you about it. You will be sent to voicemail and disregarded. It couldn't get any worse of a customer experience! The picture shows where I had to take out the brand new carpet that was installed a couple days in advance from the water leaking through the ceiling above it.

Absolute nightmare of a delivery experience with a destroyed doorframe & torn up kitchen floor when our refrigerator was delivered. Additionally, and I'm sure that this is a corporate rule, know that if you ever make a purchase with a gift card at Home Depot & have to make a return they make you choose if you want in-store OR online credit back & the two are not interchangeable. So, for example, if you choose your credit back as online, that credit/gift card can ONLY be used online & is no good in store then vice-versa. So beware if Home Depot is a gift card you give during the holidays. Ridiculous policy for any business.

Me and my partner have been coming down to Sevierville for the last four years painting murals, and this Home Depot paint department is always on our list— we first had the pleasure of working with Ron, and have recently added Chad, Ben, and the manager Michele to the group of incredibly helpful people who’ve assisted us. This paint department and its employees always are a 10/10 for their help, attitude, and friendliness. I look forward to seeing this team every time we’re down— life long customers! Thank you all! You’re the best 🎨🎉 (Attached are a few murals we’ve painted using the expertise of this team!)

They use to be good, but not anymore, they have cost my business 1000's of dollars in the last few months being completely incompetent, there will call is a joke, tgey have only got it right 1 time in 10 years, I spent over 10,000 dollars the month of Jan, 2019, and that is a slow month, I went in to order awnings, Tom the manager told me I would have to go home and do it online that he couldn't, well I had my customer with me and he thinks home dep9t and Tom the manager sucks, and I have to agree, so the customer and I went next door to lowes and tgey were great, my customer spent over $7000.000 at lowes 30 minutes after we left home depot, the Sevierville home depot managers display a lot of ignorance, especially Tom... I called the home office and spoke to a man that said someone would get back with me, it's been a week and no call nack, I'm done with them and so are my customers and my business, I'm a veteran and a business owner and home depot is no place to support, they make millions a year and won't staff enough people to offer reasonable help . I was in tgere 2 Sundays ago and I had to stand at the return desk for 30 minutes while 3 girls talked personal gossip and one was seeving tge only other customer in the store.. i asked one of the 3 girls if they would help me and tgey all got an attitude and she helped a guy that just walked up instead of me that had been waiting 30 minutes.. I said something to Tom tge next day and he made me feel like i should go somewhere else to shop, so I am, last year over 400,000 dollars in supplies from home depot, and that was my 12th year, but for now on I'm gone to lowes, owenbys, blaylocks, and tindells, we should make the money stay local anyway, but if Tom would of been professional and acted like he had a brain, I would stay loyal, but the loyalty isn't there on Toms or home depots part, Bye Home depot, glad to have their mistakes out...

On 11/16/22 I returned 3 items to the Home Depot in Sevierville. The staff was really rude to me about it to. I had paid with a debit card however debit cards are same as cash right. Well thay said it had to go back on the card. I calmly told the lady at the desk that it was literally freezing out side. I needed to buy some fuel for my heater to stay worm. The low was supposed to be 28 degrees. And with wind even colder. I calmly explained the situation. In witch case she told me more or less that she didn’t care and it wasn’t here problem. With that said. I had my receipt. Nothing had been opened or damaged in anyway. I all but begged her to give the money back in cash. It’s freezing out. She just said she couldn’t. But after all this. Even customer service or corporate said she could have. I talked to the manager at the store. He told me he wood give me a 1 gallon of fuel for my heater. I am not shore how to take that. But like an insult to injury. As it wood take me 2or 3 gallons of gas to get back to Home Depot and home. I was honest. Told the truth even though it was humiliating. Thay all more or less said it’s not our problem. Freeze tonight. It’s only going to get down to 28 degrees. Thanks Home Depot in Sevierville TN. I hope I don’t get sick tonight. O yea. It’s not there problem. Lol. What a place. Thay did offer me 1gal of fuel for the heater. Not my money so I can buy my one though. That wood have been way to easy. 9:30 pm and 35 degrees and dropping. Thanks again Home Depot. And all your friendly staff. Lol. Thay woodent leave an animal out in this cold. Needless to say. I am a human being. And did nothing to deserve this. But try to stay worm. I guess that’s way to much to ask. Thay got there merchandise back. But I still don’t have my money. There is seriously something wrong with this...

We purchased a Frigidaire Induction oven a week before Thanksgiving 2017. Seeing that it was on sale at a very reasonable price, a lot were purchased. So delivery was to be a week before Christmas. Keep in mind we paid 1300 for this stove. We waited til the delivery date, I took a day off of work from a very busy law firm, to accept delivery of this stove. It came. The delivery men were very nice, professional. They un-boxed the stove and the stove top was damaged. The glass was cracked. So I refused the stove. Make note REFUSED. Sent back. Did not accept. Ok. They said the next delivery would be the following week. Ok. Fine. I had waited this long. We then receive a call saying that since we RETURNED the stove, we would have to wait until the other orders were filled first. ORDERS that were RECEIVED after ours. We had to explain that we did not return a stove, we never had one. It arrived damaged and we had to refuse it. It had never left the truck. OK NOW, we are still being told that we are bumped to the back of the line. NOW I am getting a bit steamed, but no amount of talking is helping. So we now have to wait until JANUARY 22 for a stove we ordered in NOVEMBER. AND that is today. And guess what? My husband took the day off of work. Now we are missing two days. My day and his. Around the tune of 400 dollars lost. And we still have no stove. No delivery today. I am rather disgusted at this point and will never shop again...
