We've had US cellular for over 20 years and have NEVER been treated so rudely! We were trying to make a payment, and my husband gave her the wrong #. (mine) I noticed this, and asked her what name she had up? Everything out of her mouth was short and snippy. She stated his name(obviously not checking) She said it was paid with a $20 credit. She advised us not to make a payment! We knew it wasn't right and she kept snapping back it was. She kept saying all I see is what's on the screen. She finally spun the screen around and I figured out that it was MY account. (My husband mailed the bill 2 weeks ago, and wanted to make a payment until his was received.) IT WOULD OF WENT TO THE WRONG ACCT AND HIS PHONE COULD OF BEEN SHUT OFF.!!!! To begin with, she was sitting there not acknowledging my husband and he had to walk up to her and she acted aggravated. We kept saying that it didn't sound like his acct and what name was on there and she repeatedly said his name without checking! She kept repeating over and over that all she did was take in payments and she couldn't help us with anything else. My husband stated his payment should be around $52 a month not $67. She stated, that what's here. That's what you paid the past 3 months. Again, I said that sounds like my acct. When she finally spun the screen around spitefully with a sneer on her face is when I saw that it was me. She stated, well that's the # YOU gave me!!! He did give her his correct name. That's when my husband stated that she wasn't being friendly and was she having a bad day to give her a chance to apologize. She said smugly, I'm sorry YOU feel that way! Wow! What an inconsiderate response. My husband returned to ask for her name and she hesitated and said her first name with a smart alleck look, Alyssa. He asked her her last name and same reaction, Bellew.( sp? ) Everything was said and done with a bad spiteful attitude and look. Definitely a horrible representation of US Cellular. We run our own business and would never treat a customer like this or have someone like her representing us! And all we wanted to do was pay EXTRA so this wouldn't happen again! This needs to be...
Read moreI have been a US Cellular Business Customer for 13 years; however, my experiences with the local corporate store in Sevierville, TN have made me question the wisdom of this decision. The sales associates have issues doing simple tasks like activating, deactivating, and switching numbers. They are commonly out of products. They put their sales before their customer service. Even doing something as simple as paying a bill, you have to wait in line behind sales people trying to up sale potential customers with lengthy sales pitches. Every visit to this store has been a long drawn out nightmare. Over the last few years, I have been charged twice for phones on my account and credit card both, I have had cancellation fees applied to lines that are still in service, I have been pressured to purchase various products and change plans when I came in for other reasons, and I have been unable to purchase phones at other locations due to this stores inability to process things correctly.
I am pleased with US Cellular service in general and with my experience at other stores, but I do not recommend dealing with the Sevierville store if it is at all possible to avoid. Thankfully an independent store has opened up closer to me in Gatlinburg. They have been very efficient and helpful. I will be taking all my business there...
Read moreI have had us cellular for years. However after dealing with this store I am trying to switch companies. I go to talk to this location about my previous interaction with this store because they left out information and so now I’ll be paying $70 a month for wifi. My mother was on the phone with me and got upset and asked to speak to the representative himself. There were 3 other ppl in the store talking to other representatives. Instead of him putting the phone to his ear. He put it on speaker loud and clear for everyone in the store to hear my personal business. I wish now I would’ve said something to him ab that but, I was trying to not make more of a scene. The couple in the booth next to me laughed and looked at me the entire time. Everyone heard. The representative still didn’t take her off of speaker even when I told him when I told him to not put her on speaker. I have never been so humiliated in my life.
Meanwhile the lady beside me was also complaining ab the services she was receiving. I suggest never coming to this store. It’s representatives are jokes and only care about sales and not fixing their...
