Hi there! My name is Bunny (or Bun! on most games) and I go to Arcade Legacy almost every weekend. I’m going to be giving you some reasons why Arcade Legacy is the best arcade and why you should give them all of your time and money. Note that this review may be out of date (made 2/21/24).
The first reason you should go to Arcade Legacy (or why Arcade Legacy is the best) is that the price for entering the arcade is really low. Its $5 for an hour and $10 for unlimited time/for the rest of the day (you can also buy a monthly pass for $50). If you compare this to other arcades you'll see that Arcade Legacy has a significantly lower price, and you get more out of it. Additionally if your only going to the arcade for the bar, or to play the 50 cent pinball, you don't have to pay to enter!
The second reason why you should go to Arcade Legacy (or why Arcade Legacy is the best) is that there is a wide variety of games to play. They have rhythm games, pinball, classic arcade games, fighting games, console games, and more! Additionally, they have karaoke on mondays for people ages 21+ if you don't like kids (just remember that if you don't like kids maybe you should think about the fact that your going to an arcade and theres obviously going to be children).
The third reason why you should go to Arcade Legacy (or why Arcade Legacy is the best) is that the workers (and most of the regulars) are really nice people! I’ve met alot of really cool people at Arcade Legacy and the people at the arcade make going there alot more fun! I’ve seen people in the reviews saying the workers werent nice and it confused me alot since i spend a bunch of time at the front and every interaction between the workers and customers that i've seen has been positive.
The forth reason why you should go to Arcade Legacy (or why Arcade Legacy is the best) is that they have tons of cool things you can buy in the media store. They have games, movies, consoles, controllers, figures, manga, cards, and more! And just like the entrance price, the prices of the things in the store will be lower than other places (which is a good thing!) I’ve seen people in the reviews saying “be wary of buying from them” and i was so confused. If you have an issue with something youve bought then you can bring it back and return it within like 2 weeks (I think).
The fith and last reason ill give on why you should go to Arcade Legacy (or why Arcade Legacy is the best) is that they have a bunch of rhythm games! They have Chunithm, DDR (Stepmania in a DDR cab), Wacca, MaiMai, Popin Music, Groove Coaster, Sound Voltex, Nostalgia, IIDX, Taiko, Museca, and 2 Jubeat cabs! Not only are the games fun, but the people who play the games are all really cool! They sell cards that you can use to save your settings and progress on, USB’s that you can use to save DDR settings and scores, and touchscreen gloves (sold out rn) that make games like Chunithm, Wacca, Nostalgia, and MaiMai easier. (My gamertag on most games is Bunny! or Bun!)
I hope that after youve read my review you will realize that Arcade Legacy is better than every other arcade and that you should sell your soul...
Read moreThe best most superior arcade in existence if you favor Dave and busters then your a loser, So here's a short essay about why you and other people should go here! The essay is pretty old so some info is out of date like the bar and stuff.
Greeting teachers/people/friends looking in the reviews that I sent this to, these paragraphs will hopefully convince you to go to Arcade Legacy (Sharonville). So you ask ¨Why should I go to Arcade Legacy?¨. Well, you should go because it is the best Arcade ever and if you disagree then you have either never been there or you are a disgrace.
But now here are some actual reasons why you should go here. The first reason is the price it's only 5 dollars to stay for one hour and only 10 to stay all day. If you decide you want to go a lot you can buy the monthly pass which lasts 30 days for 50 dollars, and if you decided to buy it you can bring a friend with you for only 5 dollars for the whole day. Even though you can't win prizes here like most arcades it's still worth it for the epic games. Most of the games there are free besides the premium pinball machines there. This arcade mostly has classic arcade games (which are nostalgic for old people) but there are also rhythm games that other arcades don't have like DDR and Sound Voltex and many more.
They also have a media store where you can sell your old games and also buy games and different merch. You can also buy stickers there. There is even a console room where you can play console games with your friends. So, in conclusion, this is why you should go to the superior arcade, Arcade Legacy.
(There's also a summer pass thing now) (I swear I do not get the people who give this place below 5 stars those people are definitely major sad losers who have nothing in life) The workers there are also very friendly.
The Arcade is also very safe and you have low chances of getting robbed (from experience of going a lot) No one that I know has gotten robbed there which is great! They also have a great candy and drink selection for when you need to chill after playing a bunch of games or just to hang out!
They also have all of your basic needs so you can basically live there. They have a bathroom for removing waste and they food (candy they might have actual food in the future idk) and they have drinks you can also probably sleep there like on the basement couch. There is a cracker barrel right next to it just incase for food, if the candy doesn't work.
I would sell my soul for this place, and so should you! Give them your life...
Read moreArcade Legacy Sharonville is a great place and welcoming atmosphere! The staff and owners are top-notch.
A lot of folks have left reviews talking about how amazing, innovative and low priced the arcade is. I am on board with all of that and my wife and I try to get up there from Kentucky at least once or twice a month these days to spend an evening in the arcade. That out of the way, I want to talk about how amazing, innovative and low priced the RETAIL space is!
I've gone far and wide working on my original NES collection, I have maybe 300 games or so. Enough to not realize I am buying a (2nd/3rd) duplicate of a cartridge. I like to play the games I collect, personally. I've been to countless flea markets, game stores, pawn shops and the like. Arcade Legacy has the lowest prices of them all. Stuff is priced to move and everything is tested. I asked the owner once about the low prices, seeing a certain collectible NES game at just an insane low price and he replied along the lines of that he's about people who want to play those classic games, and enabling that.
As a gamer, I find that I have to root for a guy like that! He's one of us! ("One of us, one of us!")
Seeing how the pandemic affected businesses and arcades in general, I am so happy to see how successful Arcade Legacy Sharonville has become. Originally in the old Forest Fair mall and with a Bar Edition and location in Covington, they recently consolidated into their location in Sharonville and it has grown so quickly! They recently expanded into an adjoining space and while both the arcade and the retail spaces grew with the expansion, now the retail space has about 3x the footprint! Whether you want to find an original NES game like me, or get into collecting/playing, there is no better place to start. The staff up front know what they are talking about because they are gamers too. There's also plenty of gaming-adjacent merch like clothing, toys, manga, board games and a lot more!
A whole bunch of trade-ins come in regularly so you will always see something new. Be sure to join Arcade Legacy's facebook page to get a first look at some of the shiniest trade-ins every Tuesday morning which you can price in the comments section and have the staff hold for you.
Oh yeah, and the arcade area has a Q-Bert cabinet and I try to get in a game of World Series '99 every time I am out there!
Congrats to Jesse and team on your success and I wish so much more of it...
