I've been to this location three times, the third visit wasn't the greatest. First off they weren't that busy. They should never have a slow person as a server. I will not mention any names(that's because I don't remember the server's name lol). From what I have observed my server only had 4 tables, me and my party sat at our table for about 15 minutes before she acknowledged that we were even there. But for some reason she kept tending to one table multiple times. She finally approached us to take our drink orders and that took another 10 minutes to get. When she did come from the kitchen with a tray of drinks which were ours she still went to that same table that she already tended to a few times since we've been seated. She did come to our table with our drinks served them and said I will be right back to take your order. Well another 10-12 minutes went by before she came back to take our orders. Finally after that wait for our food we are finally served, it's not horrible but it could have been better, for starters the cornbread looked like somebody forgot them in the oven (see photos) and the biscuits were pretty hard. We did mention both of them to her, told her they should never have been served and they should all have been tossed in the trash by the cook, she didn't care. But anyways as we were enjoying our meals another party was put at the table next to us, they had the same server. The server did not acknowledge them the three times that she walked past them. On the fourth time passing them one of the people at the table tried to get her attention she yells across the room saying she'll be right with them as soon as she can. One of the people at that table did ask to see a manager and a manager was nice about the situation and must have said something to the server, the server did tend to them immediately after that. But I think the biggest problem was before we were given our drinks, before we got our meals one of the people that was with me is a diabetic and her sugars were dropping, so because we couldn't get our server or somebody else to assist us I went on the sales floor and grab a candy bar and I explained it to the hostess I was going to give it to that diabetic and I will pay for it when I pay for my meals but she end up asking the cashier while the cashier dropped everything to ask somebody else in the restaurant area and I said forget it I'm just going to take it and I will pay for it in a few minutes. Eventually the manager did come to our table and was very helpful about the whole thing and said that it was fine with the candy bar but these two other employees act like the world was coming to an end LOL. But after everything was said and done I went to pay when we were leaving, the hostess who was now the cashier apologized and said that she hoped that the elderly woman who was the diabetic was o.k, I thanked her for that and told everything is fine. That was my visit to the sharonville, Oh Cracker Barrel. Just be a little kinder to your guests and have a more of an understanding with somebody in a situation like that diabetic was.

So this was a full circle moment being that Cracker Barrel was one of the first jobs I had. I was so hungry and on my way to work I decided to stop at Cracker Barrel. I was very happy to see a woman who nurtured and took me under her wing who is the life, the face and the spirit of that location. Her name is Beatrice, She’s not only kind, but you can literally feel the spirit of the Lord on her. Now that I got the good stuff out the way, let’s get into the bad things. When I came in, I was greeted right away and I was asked if I was placing to go order or I wanted to Dine in. I stated I wanted to place a to go order and my waitress Alexis G came over and took my order. I ordered mama’s French toast breakfast a drink and fried apples. My order came up to 19. I tipped the waitress making it a total of 22. I waited over 42 minutes for my order. The host couldn’t find my order because the woman who took my order didn’t put my order in and never gave a name, when the Server walked to the front With my order, I felt the bag and it felt cold. I asked Beatrice at the front desk was my order fresh and she stated yes. I drove to work after being late for picking up the breakfast that took over 40 minutes and my food was ice cold. and my apple juice tasted like water. I instantly called back to the location location. They didn’t even ask what my name was for some strange reason. I guess they knew I was going to call back in. They said we will have your food ready when you come. I stated don’t you need my name how do you know who I am and they said we knew that you would call back in. Nevertheless, when I arrived, Beatrix greeted me again was very I received my food and went back to work. The food was fresh, but it had absolutely no flavor. The eggs didn’t have any salt pepper. The French toast tasted bland. The Apples taste it weird. The only flavor that you could taste on the apples with cinnamon and the skin was still on the apples and it just had a weird offputting taste. The only thing that was good was the bacon. Whoever that pig was was delicious. For $19 I expected way more. Now the presentation of the food was nice they give you to go syrup in small glass bottles. The atmosphere of the store was Homie. The gift shop is always really nice to look around and see the different items that they have even though they’re very overpriced. They have a lot of old-school candy that you can only in the south or that is discontinued. If they could get their waiters together and add some salt and pepper to their food, they would be unstoppable. The only reason why I would patronize his business this business again is to see Beatrice. Please give Beatrix a raise… She is the biggest asset To the whole restaurant. She puts me in the mind of Loretta Devine, almost even with her sweet little voice. She Makes you feel like family and I was so upset about Cracker Barrel but seeing how happy she was made me want to eat at the restaurant again.

There is nothing like a good country/southern meal when you don't have time to make it yourself! I went with my fav! CHICKEN FRIED CHICKEN just can't go wrong with that sawmill gravy and super crispy fried chicken... as always, I needed my dumplins, hash brown casserole, green beans, pinto beans, and cornbread!. I normally eat all my veggies but coming here's is a cheat for me so I definitely carbed up! But it's worth it.. Thank you to our excellent server, Sarah ! You were nothing short of Amazing party of 25 and didn't miss a beat! Absolutely 0 complaints. (there was another server[meaghan?] who helped rock this out with Sarah (but she wasn't on my side of the table! I know she was amazing also!) Quoted 1 hr Sat in 45 minutes. Thank you, Ryan, for your patience with such a large unexpected group. I never saw you sweat! You handled it amazingly calm, professionally, quickly, with a smile and without any frustration. That's how managers are supposed to be. Thank you on behalf if the family. Not one thing was missing or wrong with the order. Everything was hot and fresh! That merry berry tea was absolutely delicious! 💯 I also love that they have that veggie plate as an entrée! (I always just eat sides) I also had a chance to try the LOADED TOTS! I love my tots and this will absolutely be something I order every time I go! Thank you for such a wonderful experience! We were here after a funeral 😔 and the hospitality that was shown during such a critical time for our family was beyond words, and I am grateful that the widower chose here. Thank you for your great hospitality, delicious food, professionalism, and kindness. It will always be remembered

Terrible service and food. We had to wait for the hostess and manager (? Short older lady) to finish their non-work-related conversation before we were seated. We waited at least 10 mins before the waitress finally came over to take a rushed drink order. She also called my long-haired husband a lady, I presume because she saw him from behind and was in too much of a hurry to notice the linebacker-sized shoulders. She didn't even have the courtesy to apologize when she saw his facial hair; we just sat there and stared at her for a few moments. I have no idea what her name was as she didn't bother with an intro/hi/welcome, nothing, and she moved too quick to see her name tag. We waited nearly 20 mins before she took our actual food order. My husband and I both got the country fried steak breakfast. The portions were the usual overabundance, which is fine as I like to take leftovers home. However, none of the food was seasoned, and was absolutely bland. The biscuits were good, but the gravy, which isn't even sausage gravy, was a complete disappointment. The grits were cooked with water and underdone/crunchy. Added butter didn't fully redeem them. I barely ate 1/3 of my food and was extremely reluctant to even bother taking the leftovers, but I hate to waste food so I did. The waitress only came by one other time before we were done to ask how everything was, but it was literally a drive by and she didn't wait for an answer. Mind you it was barely at half capacity, plenty of other servers, and she was waiting no other tables, just disappeared when she left ours. We finally got a box and the check well after we'd stopped eating. The cashier was friendly and honestly remorseful when we told her of our experience, asked if we wanted to speak with the manger, but, due to our travel schedule, we declined. I don't remember the last time our experience was so bad, but we declined to tip at all (my husband wouldn't let me leave the traditional bad service penny tip). The floors, especially the entire distance between the door to the host spot, in front of the cashiers were so sticky and gross that my shoes made loud noises every time I lifted my feet. Recommend?...
