Something strange is going on here… came in as a table of 3 on a Monday early evening. Decided to try it due to the high reviews. It was recently renovated and looks quite nice. There was one other group of people in the restaurant. We waited 1.5 hours for some of the worst, blandest food I’ve ever eaten. The server didn’t give us updates, and then after 90 minutes she brought out 2 of the 3 main dishes. One person at our table was sitting there with no food as the other two ate. Look at that chicken and waffles… the chicken looks like some kind of cryptoid alien creature. There was no breading and no seasoning on it. Like they took it straight out of the bag and into the deep fryer. The po boy was not what I think of when I hear po boy. It was fine, sauce tasted like a watered-down thousand island which caused the bread to be too soggy to be eaten with hands. Fries were bad though. Hot but not at all crispy, almost like what you’d expect from microwaved leftover fries. Not shown is the buffalo dip which looked and tasted like it had been sitting under a hot heat lamp all day. It had this huge layer of crust on it. I wish I had gotten a picture. Oh then they tried to comp us this cake. Like, what is that? “Sorry you dont have food yet, here’s some cake wrapped in plastic that looks like play dough”. There were two cooks in the back and it took 1.5 hours for the food you see in these pictures. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. Cool atmosphere and nice renovations. They must’ve spent all their money on the rebuild and didn’t have enough leftover to develop recipes or buy decent ingredients or hire people who care even a little bit.

My son & I ordered the chicken & waffles. The food came fast; we loved the chicken wings & enjoyed the waffles but they were a little on the sweet side for us but were still good. I'm not a sweets person so I didn't use much syrup or honey butter as the batter was already sweet. The atmosphere was great, very relaxed, & amazing music! I love me some 90's R&B so that was an absolute delight & I was singing along at my table (of course quietly as it wasn't very well) LOL. Mrs. Kitty was so sweet, she double checked to make sure the bar had a particular drink I wanted, she was attentive, & an overall great server. The manager (didn't catch his name) came & checked on us towards the end of our meal & was prompt in getting us the check when it was time. The ease of paying at the table was also a plus & there was no pressure to hurry out of the restaurant either. There were a couple things I wanted to order from the menu so will definitely be back if I'm in the area again.

I was so looking forward to the food but was disappointed the salmon Philly was dry and had no flavor at all my neice ordered chicken tenders and fries from the kids menu the chicken tenders tasted like pickles the chicken was not seasoned and was overcooked. My sister had a hamburger the burger was grey it did not look like a regular hamburger patty we complained about our food they did compensate by taking some charges off but I will not be back. Also other customers complained about their food to the waitress and other people walked out. Worst experience ever. Please save your money but if you like bland food with slow service then this place is for you

This place should be called “No Damn Good Bar & Grill!” Whoever is running the kitchen needs to be fired immediately and replaced. Honestly, the list of things wrong with our order is too long to cover in this review. Just know this: I originally tried to order the salmon cheesesteak, but was told they couldn’t make it because the salmon was frozen. Meanwhile, everyone else in my party had already received their food and was nearly done eating.

So, reluctantly, I ordered the chicken and waffles. I waited another 15–20 minutes, only to be served chicken wings and half a waffle — and not even the Belgian waffle advertised on the menu, but some random, generic-looking waffle. I asked the waitress if this was correct, and she admitted, “I don’t know where that came from. It should be a Belgian waffle. We don’t have waffles like that.” She said she'd get it fixed.

Five minutes later, she returned to inform me they were actually out of waffles altogether. Which left me wondering — where the hell did this half-waffle even come from?! I told her I was done and ready to leave. They ended up comping my meal, along with a few others on our party, because the mistakes just kept piling up.

Now here’s the kicker: as we were heading to the car, I looked across the parking lot — and there it was. A Waffle House. It hit me then —they literally ran over to Waffle House, grabbed a waffle, cut it in half, and served it to me! Probably saving the other half in case someone else ordered chicken and waffles too. Absolutely ridiculous!

All they had to do was be honest and tell me they were out of waffles, instead of wasting more of my time in that disaster of a restaurant.

The only saving grace was our server — at least she...
