I stayed at this hotel long term as I was struggling with housing as having two large dogs. The hotel staff was rude except for the front desk worker Gavhar and Tony they were the only people who was respectful during the whole duration of my about month and some more change The manager Raj Patel may seem kind at first but he is verbally very rude he will interrupt you when he thinks you are wrong and will constantly speak over you for example on the last day of my stay I had called earlier in the morning and the manager Raj had told me it would be 740 for a weeks payment including pet fees etc. then when I went down there to go pay Another young man who works there asks me who told me that and I said I had called earlier and I was beginning to say who did he cut me off and said no I did not because he was answering the phone at that time and then once I showed him my phone he began to say he doesn’t know who I talked to but there’s only two men who work there. And he told me my price would be 900 a week mind you he is not a manager and is extremely rude. Overall I have spent well over 5gs for nothing I waited for weeks for the pool to get fixed nothing happened the back area where the dogs were supposed to go out was full of trash food nails glass things that can pose harm to pets on top of that every room I went to had an new problem we were staying in room 203 towards the end and I told him the shower rod was loose he said he would get somebody to fix it. It never got fixed during my stay I had to switch rooms 3 times because neither of the fridges were actually refrigerated and multiple times my food had went bad simply because there fridge didn’t work Overall they need new management my vote is Gavhar Tony and the housekeeper were always kind and respectful towards me I believe they should stay but as for the two men that were always thinking they were right and were just outright disrespectful I hope they...
Read moreWhen I drove into the parking lot and saw no cars, I thought, "Uh Ohh." When I talked into my room and the heat was turned off, I thought, "Uh Ohh. When I told the desk manager that I was planning on using the pool the next day with my grandkids and I saw the look on his face, I thought, "Uh Ohh."||"Uh Ohh" was right.||I don't often leave a hotel angry. I did this one. We went to Kings Island's Winterfest and stayed at this hotel because it was a Holiday Inn Express. Normally, these hotels are of a good caliber. Not this one. ||So we came home after the Kings Island event and went to bed. The beds were comfortable. That is about all I can say. The next morning we woke up and walked to the subpar Holiday Inn Express Breakfast. Minimal at best. Pancakes the size of drink coasters, Yogurts half a cup, Only fruit was bananas. Special "K' with berries was corn flakes. If they ran out of anything, well wasn't replaced because they said they were out of the item. Coffee was gone and not refilled at breakfast!||We walked to the pool that was advertised in the picture's on the website. Indoor pool. We walk in, expecting to go swimming and there was a 40 degree room with water that was freezing. Disappointed Grandkids. Frustrated Grandpa. So, we walked into the fitness room to see if there was anything they could do. Dirty, moldy, carpet need cleaned beyond cleaning.||How in the world is this a Holiday Inn Express!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do NOT go here if you want the Holiday Express experience.||So, I then checked the TripAdvisor reviews, (I wish I did before hand). The responses are automotive and exactually the same for each review. ||Bare minimum, not what I expected from a Holiday...
Read moreThis facility in Sharonville apparently has been newly remodeled. The room was clean, well supplied and suited our needs. It was the value added items that led to the low rating. We were there two nights. On the first morning, the complimentary breakfast was not well presented. The waffle iron was not operable, the juice machine was not dispensing properly so the juices were watered down or came out as just water. There were no condiments condiments for the toast. There was butter and cream cheese for the bagels. On the second morning, the waffle machine was still inoperable, the juice machine was still malfunctioning and there was what appeared as a loaf of bread for toast. No additional choices, although there was jelly available. It was just not the presentation that we have come to expect from Choice Hotels. Out of all of our recent stays in the last year, this was probably the worst experience. We will not be staying at this facility again. On the day we checked out, it was snowing and had accumulated a considerable amount of blowing snow. The snow had not been cleared from the parking lot nor had the snow been cleared from the covered portico to allow for a safe departure. There was also a vehicle parked under the portico for approximately 3 to 4 hours which made it very difficult to get into the covered area to load and check out. Since we used out free points for this stay, I am very disappointed that it was not a...
