I’ve stayed at this hotel 2-4 times a year for four years. It used to be really good. I don’t know what’s happened with this place. I suspect it’s staff related.

On my stay last weekend, the front desk person was almost never the same person twice, and I saw about six different people over 4 days. Only one of them said hello when walking in. Generally they were all on their phones or reading a book and didn’t look up.

I checked in on the app hours before arrival, and went up for the room and the app key didn’t work. Went back down and was informed the app wasn’t working. No apology.

Elevator one night was broken. The right elevator would act like it was at the lobby floor but would not open. Luckily we weren’t inside. We told the front desk, and one girl said it had been doing that earlier and she ‘fixed it’. The other girl said she didn’t know how. To me, something as critical as an elevator should be fixed by a technician not a front desk receptionist. Again no apology.

Several light bulbs in the room were burned out. The thermostat had a blinking battery light and was slow to function.

Most irritating, the new showers they installed in place of the tubs a few years ago are poorly installed. They don’t latch on at the top because of the angle and the door will open the entire time you’re in the shower. I had to wedge a wash cloth in the track to stop it from moving.

The hotel is clean and location and price are good, but I really think I’ll be looking elsewhere next time I...

First off, my 3 star rating is because this was a satisfactory stay (we got in around 8pm, slept well, and left fine) but I would expect better from our experiences with Hilton. Pros and Cons below: The Pros: +The location is very good, everything to be expected from a spot right off the highway: various places to eat, etc. And as a +bonus, close to a little street that must be where the locals hang out, if you enjoy that kind of thing. +The hotel itself was clean in the common areas and in the room. The Cons: -The desk clerk who handled the check in was very casual, did not smile, and did not mention any details about the room besides mentioning our special request (close to ground floor, we were on 2nd). When I went to run my card, he pulled out his phone and poked around for a few moments (I'm a younger guy so maybe he thought it wouldn't be a big deal? I didn't make a fuss). +To note, I later had to verify our charge and spoke with someone else who was very helpful and courteous. -the tub faucet was loose and the leaver-thingy was stuck. I had to muck with it to get it to switch to the shower. I mentioned this on checkout and it seemed to be a common thing, got a hint that they have 2 different styles.. so maybe our room had not been remodeled yet? Wasn't reflected in our bill, if so! -hotel offers WiFi but from our room (about halfway down the hall on the 2nd floor) we couldn't connect to it, devices had a hard time finding any WiFi signals - except the La Quinta across...

Unfortunately I feel like we were scammed with the photos and description. We stayed here for our wedding weekend and wedding night. We chose the hotel due to it claiming to have a bar and an on-site restaurant. :( It did not have either. I have to give 1 star due to that being the sole reason we chose it. We were really looking forward to a staycation with on-site room service or drink and food options and ended up eating chips for our wedding night. Our mini fridge also did not keep our drinks cold and spoiled our leftovers. The remote to the TV didn’t even work. I can’t even describe how disappointed we were. The outdoor area photographed on the website was also very dirty and inaccurate. We left a day early because of all of this but still felt we way overplayed for the two nights we did stay. Motel feeling at hotel pricing. There was also no free breakfast offered which was crazy with how much we paid for our room. The staff was pretty friendly however, housekeeping workers were very nice. and the hot water and pressure were excellent. The hallways, elevators, and lounge area also felt pretty dingy and dirty, but the rooms were mainly clean, just a bit outdated. The business room also didn’t have computers like pictured on the website, so I was unable to print some very important papers for our wedding. Just overall such a...

These reviews are kind of crazy to me. I’ve worked in hospitality for years and what I witnessed this weekend was horrific. The first thing I did working at a hotel when checking rooms is look for hairs in the bathroom. Our bathroom had hairs on top of the toilet, on the seat of the toilet, and on the back of the toilet. It also had hairs in the shower floor and on the towels. They offered me a different room but I figured it would’ve been the same housekeeper so I declined and cleaned myself. The next morning they gave me a free hotel breakfast. They normally charge for the breakfast, which is the same as any other free hotel breakfast. The danish I got had green mold on it. The pool is not heated and smells weird, which sucked due to me bringing my son for his 4th bday. I walked over to the Tru hotel across the street to try and change hotels and the front desk asked like I was the worst thing that ever happened to him, so i ended up giving up and staying the two nights at the garden inn. I have worked for Hilton before and this was appalling. It was the worst Hilton I’ve ever been in.

This review contains a lot to unpack. Let's start with the good. The Good: * The rooms were very clean * The air-conditioning was very cold The Challenges: * The water (see below) * The breakfast buffett, which they charge over $12 for, is no different than a continental breakfast. * The hallway smelled like mold (not the room) Regarding the water, in the rooms, they put two bottles of water that had tags that said for their Silver and Diamond members, its free; however, for everyone else, $2. This message (or askew PR message) conveys to me, "You could have choosen any other hotel chain, but you didn't, you chose us; however, even though you spent hundreds of dollars, you didn't spend enough so we are going to tell you to your face you aren't worth it and pay the $2 for each water bottle." (See attached photo). This type of marketing would normally be an auto-fail, but... their rooms were clean, which is their core function as a business. So I gave them three stars. Any outreach from the company is meaningless unless they fix this problem.
