This location is currently only doing To-Go orders for their 3rd shift hours (9pm-7am) which is a policy being enforced by Waffle House Corprate (Midwest Waffles Incorporated)they are doing so in preparation for having a window installed that you will be able to order from instead of going inside.
It is not a good call for corprate to enforce a to-go only policy in preparation for a window. This is causing many issues for the staff of the store including making customers become agitated and belligerent because they are unable to dine in or use the restroom why they wait for their food. Corporate should allow this location to do dine-in on 3rd shift up until the window is installed in order to keep the customers happy and the workers safe and making money. Their was an incident recently where a customer was agitated about the inability to dine in and they started making threats while possessing a firearm.
Customers are also very upset that they are being forced to order To-Go and still being charged the 20% carry out fee. It doesnt make sense to charge someone an extra fee when you are forcing them to order that way. It has also been to the catalyst for several altercations with customers becoming belligerent. This waffle house needs to fix these issues before they lose more buiness or someone gets hurt just...
Read moreThought waffle house was open 24hrs but when I walked up to go into the restaurant a man came out the door to tell me that they were closed I asked how long he said at least 30 minutes it was 4:45 a.m. I decided to wait for them to open it was 5:35 when I was able to go in and order my food. I found it odd because it appeared that the man that came to the door didn't work there he was sitting in the booth with a beanie on that said officer he stated that I had to order carry out could not dine in. After all this I placed my order and the cashier/waitor was reluctant to give me my receipt he staple it to the hand written ticket and when I insisted he print out one that said copy of kitchen order and only said the total not the price for each item I ordered and I double checked the menu and I was over charged almost $5:00 by then there were several other guests waiting to order so I didn't argue I waited for my food and it didn't take long for it to be cooked but I found out why as my biscuits and gravy were ice cold craziest experience with this location never been this way at any other...
Read moreMy daughter and I came here for breakfast after her early appointment at Cincinnati Children's Hospital before heading back to the hotel to take a nap. Our visit was great. Waffle House is one of my favorite places to eat, and it's my daughter's top favorite. Lol. We immediately felt like home with the yummy food, typical banter with the employees and also banter between employees and customers (which is probably one of my favorite things about WH -- almost reminds of an episode of Cheers, but breakfast style). We also met a truck driver while there that my daughter tried to shoo away before we even entered the building (sticking her tongue out at him, pointing her finger in the direction of the street, etc lol). When he got out of the truck, he made it appoint to talk with her and ended up sitting with us at the bar. All in all, this was one of the greatest experiences I've had at a Waffle House in the past few years and we will definitely be back next time we have an appointment at CCH. Thanks for a...
