We visited Ruby Tuesday's last night for a birthday dinner with friends and it was probably one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had.
There were a total of 7 of us, it took 20 minutes to get our drinks ordered, then another 30 minutes before any of them made it to the table, none of them had alcohol. We literally ordered Pibb, coke, sweet tea, and water. 2 drinks came out then we waited another 10 minutes for 2 more, then another 10 minutes for 2 more, 1 of which did not have flavor and when mentioned to the waiter we were told, "oh yeah we might actually be out of that is there something else I can get you?", and 2 of them never made it to our table until we asked 3 times for it.... this drink was water. The appetizers AND food made it to our table before the water. Like what?
Though our waiter was nice, he was not rude at all, he was also not apologetic or informative. He was easily distracted and sat at a table behind us for a while. He sat at a table with some other customers for a while until the manager came out and said "hey, what are you doing? Your food has been sitting here." This was our food and we still only received a plate or 2 at a time with a long wait in between the rest... he walked around for a while.
Our food came out 1 at a time.. and the last person did not get there food until we reminded them we were still waiting on it when the waiter finally came out and said "can i get yall anything else?" Uh, yeah, we are still waiting on food. His response? "Yup!" There was a 35 minute window between the first plate we received and the last.
The food was not great. The sirloin was waayyy thicker than the ribeye. Odd. The fish and chips were literally like the frozen fish sticks you get for a 5 year old, Cajun pasta was good, ribs were good, burger was good, salad bar was amazing! The price of the food was horrible for the quality we received.
After we all finally got our food, we did not get refills, and we did not get our checks until we waived someone down after an hour of sitting there. After payment, the server never returned and we had to go find our own take out boxes.
There were 2 families that came in while we were just waiting on our bill and no one ever greeted them until one of the families started to seat themselves and someone came from the back and started yelling across the restaurant, "hey, hey, can you seat them? They're trying to seat themselves!"
All in all, horrible service, okay-ish food, over priced. I know it is disappointing as this is one of the few we have left in the area, but my recommendation would be to skip this one all together and save your...

Excellent atmosphere! Attentive service! Fast and friendly all the way.
One of the first questions I asked Jen was, "Would you mind turning the one TV to the Xfinity qualifying." She said, "No problem just as long as there are sports on. At first, we had no clue what channel it would be for direct TV. She allowed us to research what channel it would be. As soon as we found it and before I had to grab her, she was at our table asking if we found it. We thought we had the correct channel, but we were incorrect. Jen then said, "I'll leave the remote, and if you can find it, feel free to change the channel." Soon after we found the correct channel and waited for the program to come on. We were in business.
During our visit, we ordered 2 steak meals and the garden bar. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the garden bar was at our disposal, which was fresh and delicious. Throughout our visit, Jen checked on us frequently and made sure we had everything we needed. The booth on the other side of us had an older couple and as far as I could tell, Jen and that couple were not acquainted. After our first trip to the garden bar, we reached our table and Jen was taking a small sit down with that couple. I thought that was a friendly experience and it made me feel as if I was not just a customer, but a friend to strangers. She certainly made us feel right at home.
All in all, we enjoyed our visit! Even though it was an hour's drive from Columbus. We would certainly have no problem driving that hour to visit this location again.

Read moreWent earlier in the week and got the salad bar and a burger on Thursday the salad bar was minimally stocked food and salad dressing smeared everywhere not up kept at all. Signed up for the rewards app gotten 15 or 20 emails in a matter of four or five days about using a free salad bar coupon tried to go back last night stood at the host of stand for 10 plus minutes while employees just stood around made eye contact a couple of times and never said anyone was coming I finally go over to the bar area and ask do we see if I would seat myself or if somebody was working in the hostess stand they stated that they are not taking any more orders I said well you should put up a sign or something to that effect on the door so that I don't stand there for 10 minutes and waste our time. Then as I'm walking over towards the door I believe a manager came over and explained that their system was down they were out of all their food and they were doing stuff by written paper and they were no longer taking any orders and closing the store 2-3 hours early. I said it would be nice if there was a sign on the door so people don't stand there and waste their time I already spent a half an hour driving across town to get there. I was there for the steak dinner deal and I asked if I could get that tomorrow or another day since they were out of food and obviously closed and I've wasted all my time to go there they said no that would not be available so I have to suffer lose money on gas and time because of them I do not recommend this location at all. Even after all this I was attempting to go there again to possibly talk to a general manager about the incident but no one is answering their phone to see if they're even open...
