Kohl's — Local services in Shawnee

I enjoy Kohl's. Great products, great customer service. During this visit, I was looking for a white dress shirt to expand my professional wardrobe. I found one that was perfect, and the best part was it was on the $9.99 rack! I did notice that the brand was different from what the $9.99 rack was advertising, but there were many other shirts on that rack that was the same brand. I thought either an associate mistakenly placed them there or they discounted them too.

I went to go ring up and the shirt stated it was $39.99 instead of the $9.99 that was advertised. I've done retail before so I figured an associate mistakenly placed them there. It doesn't hurt to try, right?

So while I was frustrated, I understood because I've been in that situation. I explained to her where the shirts were so that could remove them from the rack so they don't have a customer blow up on anyone for having the shirts on the incorrect rack.

Sketchy Business I took back a 2 few shirts I didn’t like. They were on sale for 9.99 each. Told them I could just exchange for something else. I found some shoes and another shirt that ended up being over $50 more than what I was bringing back. When they went to exchange it, they said the shirts were bought with 10 dollar kohl’s bucks so they would be taking that away too. I said but I’m still buying in store merchandise why would you take that away? They said as much as your spending you will earn more Kohl’s bucks. I said to get me to come back in here next time or that I can use for this purchase? They said next visit. I said no thanks just give me whatever you think you owe me and take the items I picked here off. I’m not purchasing here again. I could understand if I was wanting a refund, hell I was spending more! My family spends a lot here. ...

I have to change my opinion on the Shawnee Koh'ls. The last few times I have been in this Kohl's the employees at the registers have not been friendly. They start off okay, but as soon as I say I am not using my Kohl's card or that I don't want to apply for one, a switch gets turned on and they are done with me. One lady audibly said Ugh when I said I did not want to apply for one and was rude to me after that. Yesterday afternoon a different lady went on and on about how expensive the flips flops I was buying were ($45) and when I said I was not using my Kohl's card (I don't have one). She practically threw the bag at my son to take, and turned to the next customer and was friendly to him before I was done paying. I will say the employees at the customer service are great!! Love them! I may only deal with them...
