Prices outrageous on everything from food 2games, each year our county fair gets more expensive with less rides, there was no Ferris wheel this year because the county is 2cheap 2pay 4an inspection, there is no longer @$8/$9 bracelet night which was the highlight of the fair in past years 4parents with multiple children, $6 4a drink & bag of cotton candy & $3 4a bottled water that wasn't even spring water but some generic off brand, I despise how the carnies try 2wiesel the small children n2 wanting 2play games 2try & win cheap inflatable toys or neon balls that look as though they've already been played with numerous times with dirt/mud stains all over them, highly disappointed but of course my children had fun which made me feel better about...

We rented Floral Hall for a wedding reception. When we showed up to decorate on 9-23, it was filthy. Garbage cans were full, dumpster was 1/2 full, gravel all over the floor in the building. There was stuff spilled in the refrigerator. Bathrooms full of trash. Welding manuals all over the floor. We literally spent hours cleaning. Now, they don't want to refund our damage deposit because we had to put the trash next to the dumpsters. (It wouldn't fit in it) and we left some straw on the floor. When I complained about the shape we found it in, I was told "well, we had a few thousand kids here this week" ...

The fair grounds itself is very well kept clean and it's very family friendly. I love all the events thought the year, except for the main event .THE COUNTY FAIR! The fair has gone down hill in the past few years, with fewer rides each year. I mean this year the board association didn't even bring back the "Cyclops," knowing this is their biggest money maker. This year the amount of rides was a joke, not even filling up half the space they usually do.
