I would NOT recommend booking a appointment for lash strips to be applied here. Firstly I booked a appointment for a special occasion, as I arrived on time and sat for my turn as she finished up on another client.. my appointment was canceled. She didn’t know why that happened, and had to ask if she could proceed.. umm huh. I was nice the whole time by the way, but I feel my appointment was canceled because you didn’t check me in? Anyways, as she went to see if she could continue with my booked appointment, she came back saying she could if we were done before her next client. This being my first time EVER, and trying to learn to put lash strips on. I didn’t think it was fair for my experience and service to be rushed, and it was. Knowing she does this all the time, which I even asked if she does this often for reassurance, my whole experience was less than what I hoped. I even spoke opening what I wanted, seeking and me trying to learn. I drove 30+ mins to this appointment, just to leave ridiculous looking. During the process she kept applying more and more glue while the lash was on my eye, she didn’t even cut it because she said it fit. I trusted the process more than I should, thinking it would all work out. When I was leaving a cashier was looking at me strange, and wouldn’t take her eyes off me. When I got to my car I looked, and I honestly wanted to cry. I will NEVER do this again! I looked stupid!!! I took photos of course, because there was a big gap, between my eye and lashes, they weren’t cut to size of my eye and she glued down my natural lashes while the eyelashes wasn’t even completely on my eyes. I left spending like $20+ on the service, just to go get them taken off. It was so bad that when they removed them, a good amount of my natural lashes came off with the strip on my left eye. I am soooo UPSET that my actual lashes was damaged, and pulled out because the application was far from correct. Normally I get sweet little high school looking girls they couldn't be more amazing! This evening I got the worst possible customer service you could ever imagine! I was followed by a short fat Hispanic girl who thought her 💩 didn't 💨 let me tell you...... I will NEVER be back to this Ulta I will take my money elsewhere, sephora has more to choose from anyways. But I was watched as soon as I walked in like I was trying to steal something then followed and as soon as I picked up a test lipstick to dab some on my hand and then apply to my finger then to my lips I finally got someone to speak to me! She said ugh hmm... Can I help you? I said no I'm finding everything OK thank you she walked about 2 feet came back and said just to let you know we are closing at 11 tonight. Which at this time was 30 mins away I said OK thank you! She walked 2 feet came back smirked, leaned into the mirror with me.... and said just to let you know..... I looked at her like she was crazy at this point and said again... Ok thank you.... Again I come all the time, I know their hours....then I look down at my 5 year old and ask... Where's your daddy? (keep in mind it's 10:30 we are the only people left in the store) he says Ummmmm IDK mom I think he's back here I'll show you and with her less than a foot away when I asked my son this she walked right up to my husband flipped her hair, asked to help him then turned and smirked at me!!! Read moreThe Sherman location is a disappointment. Time after time on this " free gift with purchase" there have been excuses as to why they don't have the free item. I was in the store yesterday and the associate and manager tried to tell me that I either didn't buy the correct items or didn't spend enough. When I pointed out that I, in fact had, the manager told me that it had been recalled and went on a tangent about they had pulled all the signs and would not release a dangerous product. After I had pointed out to her that there was a sign up on every shelf that totaled approximately 25 to 30 signs, she said " well"... what the heck?! Is this customer service? A couple of months ago, I went in for a deep conditioning treatment in the salon. The girl asked if I wanted a " trim" ....I finally agreed to it. She rushed through the treatment and gave me a heinous haircut. She proceeded to charge me 35.00 and told me she was charging me less.... as she tells me that I'm her first client. I will NEVER return to the Sherman location of ULTA.
Today which is two weeks later..I went to the McKinney location... it is FANTASTIC!! Very clean and organized. I asked the associate that checked me out about the " free gift" that I was told in Sherman was pulled by the manager... she said that" I don't know why she told you that... it's not true, we have them. " I have not received a call from the company to explain why I was given false information... Sherman location needs to be looked into...
