I've bought 2 bikes from Texoma Harley Davidson. The first bike no issues at all. That was in January of 2019. That bike was a 2001 softail deuce. In April of 2024 I bought a 2014 Triglide from Texoma Harley Davidson. Once I got it home I noticed the bike had not been serviced prior to me taking delivery. The air filter was dirty and literally black. The engine oil was black from not having been changed. I stopped looking from there. My sales person made contact with me and I told him the issues. I was told to bring it back and the bike would be serviced. That was back in May, I brought it back the following weekend and they claimed they had serviced it. Haven't really paid much attention to it until today 6-14-2024. Today I noticed the bolts holding the derby cover on were actually Phillips head screws, one was missing and the head was stripped on another. I could be wrong but this makes me beleave that the primary wasn't serviced. I checked the air filter and it's the same old black filthy air filter that originally caught my attention. I didn't even check the transmission oil but if I had to guess I'd say that hasn't been changed either. So I will NOT and can not in good faith recommend anyone go and buy a used bike from Texoma Harley Davidson. Like I said the 2001 softail I bought from them I still have. Still ride. Still no issues. Guess who ever was in charge then was a little more conscious about doing right. And part of this is my fault.i can't put it squarely on Texomah Harley. I should have checked the bike more closely than I did prior to buying it. But, that's part of the reason I bought from a dealership and not a private sale. You kinda think that if a person pays 25k for a 10 year old used bike it would have been properly serviced the first time I rode it off the lot much less the second time.
Update on review.
It is now 3:30pm on Wednesday July 19th, 2024 and I still have not heard from the service manager Wade nor anyone else from the Service department. So I'm beginning to guess this IS how yall conduct business. No need to call now. I've already gotten what I need to conduct a full service on the bike. Ya know what yall should have done before selling it to me. Or even better what yall should have done when I was told to bring it back and it would be serviced (and wasnt). So again I definitely do NOT and will NOT recommend or refer customers to Texoma...
Read moreSeen lots of good reviews I didnât have the same luck on a bike I chose I didnât look it at good enough got it home wanted to bring it back but I researched it and found I couldnât do anything about it 600 miles later something had went wrong with the engine now I donât know iam ever going to get out from under it. Update on my dilemma nothing is going to happen everyone made it sound like they would try to get me on another bike without losing all the money I just put into the bike but theyâre just selling me another bike I went to tx Harley where they had the bike for repairs and they had a couple of bikes that I liked that were more expensive but they sounded like they were going to eat some of the cost to make me happy I talked to the sales manager at tx Harley and everyone keeps asking me what will it take to make you happy I finally said put me on this 2022 right here you keep asking so there it is the manager made me feel like I was a fool well you have negative equity in this bike no kidding I thought you all were going to try to work something out on the price all of you made it sound like not just buy another bike from the start I canât do that so I picked up the bike iam just stuck they hate these reviews but iam the one with a 27000 dollar payback on this bike but my friend bought a 2020 from a independent dealer down the street from tx Harley and got a really nice bike and had no issues and thatâs where iam going to get my...
Read moreMy name is Red and I just stopped into Texoma HD. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by Cowboy. I told him I just came to look and he spent the next 30 minutes with me answering all my questions. Even knowing I wasnât buying today he still brought out sales manager Greg to visit. Really a great couple of guys. When I get ready to buy it will definitely be from Cowboy. Really clean and friendly staff. I highly recommend giving them the opportunity to fulfill your dream ofHarley ownership,
Wanted to update my review. I went back into the dealership yesterday just cause. When I walked in Cowboy greeted me and asked if I was ready to buy a bike he had showed me on my previous visit. I explained that the math just wasnât going to work. He then showed my a bike that had just been taken in. The bike was a 2006 Street Glide with just under 12,000 miles. It was absolutely gorgeous! Excellent condition and priced really well. So I said âLetâs run the numbers!â. To my surprise he came back with a way to get on this bike! Went through the process and got to âring the bellâ! Truly an outstanding group. They introduced me to parts, service and merchandise people and every one was great! This was by far the most enjoyable buying experience Iâve ever had! This dealership truly helped me and they make you feel like âfamilyâ. Highly recommend this store! Tell them Red sent you and...
