First timers. We ordered "The Vegetarian" burger. I think the meal, including fries and a beverage, was around $15 per meal before taxes. It was around 7 pm when we visited on November 22nd.
Our burgers were thrown together like low-grade dog food and were drowning in secret sauce, presumably to hide the sparse, wilted lettuce, and single, dried-out tomato butt.
When I spoke with a staff member about my dissatisfaction with the burgers, I showed her a pic of their ad, then showed her the food they gave us, noting the EXTREME difference between the two. Rather than offering to replace the burgers or refund our money, her response was, "Well, different stores make things differently." I showed her that this pic was on the restaurant website with their address on it. Her ad. Her store.
If the next words out of her mouth had been, "How can I make this right?", we'd have been just fine, and I probably wouldn't be writing this. We just wanted what we paid for. Nothing more, nothing less.
So, when she started talking about how the ingredients on the burgers they served us are what comes on it rather than addressing my concerns, it became clear to me that she wasn't interested in my needs as her customer, but rather, she was interested in her need to save face.
So, this was our response: "We're gonna go now. Everything you're saying is just making it worse. All we wanted was what you advertised and what we paid for. This isn't even remotely close. It probably doesn't matter to you, but we won't be back, and we're going to tell everyone we know about this experience." We left our uneaten meals on the table and walked out.
I hope Mooyah enjoys this review as much as we enjoyed their food.
By the way, the fries and the unsweetened tea were pretty good. The Dr. Pepper was overly carbonated. The atmoshpere was a poorly executed 50s-style dining room. There were 2-3 teens just hanging out in the diner, distracting the cooks. It was obvious they weren't diners.
Yeah. It was a bad experience. Unprofessional from start to finish. We won't...
Read moreAs someone who is traveling from Washington DC, I was thrilled to come across Mooyah's Burgers in Sherman. It's not often that you find a burger joint with such fantastic food and friendly staff.
As a vegan, I was delighted to see that Mooyah's offered a vegan burger option, which turned out to be the best vegan option in Sherman. The patty was made with a blend of quinoa and black beans and was perfectly seasoned. It was topped with avocado, lettuce, tomato, and their special vegan sauce, and it was a delightful combination of flavors.
But what impressed me even more than the food was the staff. They were incredibly accommodating and friendly, going out of their way to make sure my dining experience was top-notch. From offering suggestions on vegan toppings to ensuring that my burger was cooked to perfection, the staff at Mooyah's truly went above and beyond.
In addition to their burgers, Mooyah's also offers a range of sides, including fries, onion rings, and sweet potato fries. I opted for the regular fries, which were perfectly crispy and seasoned.
Overall, Mooyah's Burgers in Sherman is a fantastic restaurant that I would recommend to anyone. The food is delicious, and the staff is accommodating and friendly, making for a memorable dining experience. Whether you're a vegan or a meat-lover, Mooyah's has something for everyone, and it's definitely worth checking out if you're...

I've attached pictures of this mess because they speak for themselves. I was so excited to get sweet potato fries and they gave me regular fries. The tomatoes were thicker than the patty!!! This order was a disaster. They put so much sauce on the burgers that it was soaking through the buns and made the burgers cold. It was DRENCHED IN SAUCE. It was a sloppy, wet mess that I paid $22.70 plus A TIP! They didn't even have an option to decline a tip. Why is fast food asking for tips? No one even waits on you. You refill your own drink. You clean up your own trash. There's no waiter. Who am I tipping and for what? This entire experience was just awful. I'm extremely disappointed. I wasted my time and...
