I like shopping at Kohl's. Not a shopaholic at all and certainly not an authority on product lines or up-scale brands, having never - not once bought anything from Macy's, Nordstrom, or Bergdorf's. I did buy a camel from Nieman-Marcus once as a gag gift for my mother-in-law, but it didn't like her. Fortunately, we purchased the extended camel warranty plan which covered us for all camel defects, including mother-in-law animosity. We were refunded the 25K, but still on the hook for shipping & restocking. Anyway, we are a ways out in the country and it's impossible to beat that convenience...BUT Kohl's is pleasant and comfortable, usually not crowded. IMHO, the merchandise is quality, and the sales prices seem to be competitive. Their customer service desk is polite, cooperative & accommodating. The floor staff is present and personable, not pushy or hovering. They do a Vet's discount on Mondays. My wife is NOT a fashionista & hates clothes, accessories and shoes shopping immensely, so I use Kohl's merch for her and she is...

Attempting to get a replacement for a product, they told me to order from a kiosk for free home delivery because they didn't have it in stock and couldn't honor the Kohls cash if I did it any way. Absolute nonsense as another Kohls did this without any issue and without making me try to order from a kiosk. I would have probably completed it there if the kiosks worked, but none of them would take any card in the card reader, all broken. Typing on the kiosk is near impossible with it changing input selections on it's own before completing the current input. And even when you get to the end, type in your card manually, it then resets to the main screen with no confirmation or notice of what happened. Staff, again, couldn't help. Left to another one and had no issue at the return desk, including ordering for free...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām very disappointed in my experience. I was racially profiled or something. I went in for a simple exchange of shoes I purchased for my husband and the associate who assisted me proceeded to remove all the stuffing from the shoes I exchanged for. I thought it was weird when it happened. Then it hit, she must have thought I was stealing other merchandise. Maybe the associate who assisted me didnāt think I would notice. Honestly itās better to give people the benefit of the doubt. If I were a white woman maybe this wouldnāt have happened, or if I dress nice enough. Either way I will never shop at Kohlās again. Itās funny the have ads campaigns with colored people, yet if you shop at their store beware you may not be treated...
