Staples — Local services in Sierra Vista

I don’t use staples that often however when I need some stuff done I have always gone there. Last year I went and needed to have about 45 colored copies made (some of them had 2 items on one sheet but they didn’t even take up the whole page) and each sheet needed to be laminated. I paid about $62 for all of this to be done. Now I’m not sure if the girl who helped us was not charging us like she was supposed to or if she was just being kind but even then I felt the price was on the higher end but was willing to pay because it made things easier for me. I went back this year to do the same exact thing and they wanted to charge me $250 and then negotiate the price down to about $150. $250 for 42 pages to be colored printed and laminated. I was told since some pages had 2 items on the sheet it technically was a double charge for lamination even though it would be one sheet. I understand prices are going to change and I understand running a business but that is insane when I can go to Walmart and buy a laminator and box of 150 laminating sheets for about $45. I also understand you’re paying for a service for someone to do something however it took about 30 seconds to print my colored printed items and that was still a $45 charge. I won’t be going back as things have slowly gotten worse...

Product and service quality have gone way down. I ordered business cards on Monday. Tuesday I called and they were not ready. I called to inquire and a young man told me they were not ready. I explained to him the problem and told him I lived in the next town over and this was the closest location and I would not be able to come right back. He told me it was unfortunate.. I then came to the store later in the evening the same day and the gal told me they were not ready but she would start on them right away. She told me to go for a walk. I asked how long they would take and she said about an hour. I left. Now it's Wednesday but no one could answer the phone. About an hour later I went to the store and my cards were ready but no one called me to let me know. The image and writing on the cards were off center. They gave me the cards for free because of the inconvenience. Most likely I'll be ordering from Vista Print...

If I could give negative stars, I would. I ordered my purchases online for pickup, since they weren't in stock. Order was sent in two shipments and had to go to the Sierra Vista store two times, not an issue. The issue was the employees in this store. Extremely disappointed. Had to stand at the service desk for several minutes the first time and the about a half hour the second. It seems customer interactions are a nuisance and takes time out of their busy day.
