â 1 Star Verbally and physically harassed by staffâunbelievable and unsafe.
Iâve never written a review like this, but what happened at this Sallyâs location was completely unacceptable, and frankly, alarming.
I arrived at 6:50 PM, knowing exactly what toner I needed and fully intending to be in and out in under 5 minutesâwell before the 7:00 PM closing time. As I walked in, the employee loudly announced âweâre closed.â I politely responded that I just needed one quick item. She sighed loudly, started slamming items, and made it very clear I was an inconvenience.
When I went to check outâbefore closing timeâshe became increasingly aggressive. She mocked my hair color, told me I âlooked strange,â and insisted she âdidnât have to ring me outâ because I came in âtoo close to closing.â Her tone was nasty, unprovoked, and completely inappropriate. I started recording the interaction because the harassment was escalating for no reason.
When I realized she wasnât going to stop, I tried to leaveâbut she had locked the door, refusing to let me out. I asked her to let me go, and she actually pushed me when I tried to exit. I again took out my phone to record, and thatâs when she insulted my appearance, saying I had âfake lipsâ (I donât). The whole thing was bizarre and hostile. She continued berating me outside the store while I was on the phone with Sallyâs corporate, even going so far as to film me, shake her finger, and flip me off.
I have no idea what provoked this kind of rage. Maybe she was having a bad dayâor worseâbut this went far beyond poor customer service. I felt unsafe. Sallyâs needs to seriously evaluate who theyâre allowing to interact with customers. If this behavior isnât addressed, someone is going...

She was rude, didnât want to help, and if I had a question she answered it like I was stupid and had a disgusted look on her face. I had probably like 4 simple questions about hair color, each time trying to give her a chance to be nice and helpful. She would either walk away mumbling under her breath, or quite literally said âI donât know anything about the hair color youâre asking aboutâ. I went to pay my total which was $25. I handed her a 50 and she said she didnât have change. I asked her if she could get change from the back since I didnât have anything smaller and she said âI just told you we donât have change in the back either that was the point of me just telling you I canât take the $50â. Iâve never dealt with such rude customer service in my life. I told the manager and she apologized on her behalf. After asking to talk to the manager, the employee stormed off yelling âcome talk to this girl Iâm done with this placeâ. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because I feel bad for the owners and donât want this location to do poorly because of one HORRIBLE employee, Jazmine.    Read moreI always love this store. I dye my hair at home and this time I wanted to go back to my natural color. I had half black half blue semi permanent, specifically the artic fox brand. I asked the employee what should I do to help get out the color. She told me to bleach it but she doesnât know much about it. And so I did and the black turned pink and I bleached it a second time and the pink was still a hot pink. I tried some at home remedies, lemon juice and baking soda. Nothing was helping we called the store the next day to see what we could do to help it and it was the same lady saying âI donât know much about itâ we called a different location and the employee there said that bleaching it without stripping the color first made the color trapped into the follicles so thatâs why the pink wasnât coming out. She said to try a lighter/ water activated stripper. So overall that was my only bad experience I donât know why someone would work at a beauty store not knowing anything about hair. My hair is now crunchy and falling out because I bleached it with the first employees...
