I went to this location to purchase a tablet for my fiance's birthday. They did not have the item in stock so they needed to contact another store. This process took over 30 minutes! They should have told me they would call me after they located the item. Once they found the item at another store they promptly took my card from me and collected the money and promised that the item would be delivered the next day. Sure enough, it was not there the next day. They said that instead of it being hand delivered by the other store's manager it is now coming via Fed Ex and the ETA was Wed. I had not recieved a call by Thursday night so I called back and was told they did not know where the product was and that they did not have an ETA. I asked about a tracking number, they had one but couldn't tell me when the package was set to arrive. Finally on Saturday, a week later and the day I needed the tablet to give to as a gift at his birthday party, still no word from Best Buy so I called and the item was still not there. After being told several different excuses finally the gen manager told me it would be at the store by 3pm. This was a total cluster, they have horrible communication and did nothing to make up for their lack of coordination. At least a gift card or a free accessory item, geez! They should have referred me to their online store so that I could have received my tablet in a timely manner instead of being mislead for a week about when the product would arrive. I will never contribute to this locations quarterly profits again! Take my advice and drive the extra miles to the TO store, the customer service/communication...
Read moreI received a Samsung 50 inch tv from my mother and father for Christmas. The box was unopened and untouched until me and my husband moved into our new place in March. When we opened the box the tv screen was cracked under the Styrofoam. No damage to the outside of the box, or inside but somehow it was cracked. When we took it to the bestbuy store in Simi Valley CA, they at first said no problem we will return it for you. Waited 20 minutes and then was told that no it had to be shipped to the manufacturer. Which was fine. Another 20 minutes later and they took 35$ from us for shipping and then we left the tv with them. 3 hours later they call up and say, oh no actually we can't ship the tv out its too big, and in fact you have to come pick it up TONIGHT BEFORE CLOSING. The actual nerve of them to say that is a complete joke. So we had to come back before closing and pick the tv up. The one that THEY delivered damage and now will do nothing about. The manufacturer wont do anything either because its cracked and it was delivered cracked. So now we are out 600$ and I feel terrible my parents spent that amount of money to be completely wasted. Someone please tell me how you can have damaged goods delivered and not be held responsible. The customer service at Bestbuy is appalling and my family and I will not be buying anything from...

I purchased a "floor sample" TV. I made arrangements for delivery a week ahead in the afternoon. After I made the arrangements for the installation I thought everything was OK. I received a confirmation three days prior. I received another confirmation one day prior. As it turns out, it didn't matter. The delivery team decided they would try to deliver it in the morning. I got a text message saying they were on their way to deliver at 9:55 AM. I am not sure how this falls within the "12:00 PM to 6:00 PM window they promised. Strike One.
My emails and even my online account show an AFTERNOON delivery. I called to request an explanation as to WHY THE TIME CHANGED.
Here's the answer I got from them:
The store representative said that the time was changed "because the address was wrong"
What does the TIME have to do with the ADDRESS??? Strike Two.
I told the representative to cancel the order. He replies he can't, because it's in transit. STRIKE THREE.
Then I asked to speak with the manager. The response: My manager is too busy to talk to you.
Second Out. Sorry. But if the manager is "too busy" to take care of his customers, why bother.
This is a perfect example of apathy and incompetence at their best.
NEVER, NEVER, NEVER again will I purchase something...
