Iโve lived in Simi my whole life and this place wonโt last maybe another year.
Went for taco Tuesday and try this place out for the first time and it definitely will be the last. The MUSIC WAS INCREDIBLY LOUD. The waitress had trouble hearing our order and my husband and I sat right next to each other so we could hear ourselves talk.
We did want to try this place and it was late, but our first thought was wanting to leave as soon as possible because it wasnโt an enjoyable dining experience.
Our waitress was very attentive and sweet. We asked to see the manager, and we expressed our concerns to him and I emphasized that I believe thatโs the theme of this restaurant to be loud, so be it but we would never return for that simple reason. He was very nice and did lower the music quite a bit. After talking to the waitress, she informed us that itโs a common complaint and after reading the reviews, I see that.
The tacos were good and very reasonably priced but honestly, I wonโt return just because of the loud music. If you were out dancing, I could understand, but typically people who dine with others want to have a conversation and not...

If you want Brunch with friends, the ability to talk to each other, and maintain your ability to hear, this is NOT your place
Music was ridiculously loud. Not old people complaining about loud music loud, but so loud you can't hear the waitress speak to you. People screaming shots! Shots! shots! Mediocre food. For $40 each I expected better food.
And this is a Mexican restaurant but when we asked for chips and salsa the waitress told us "the kitchen is closed". Really? Then how are you making brunch items? And what Mexican restaurant doesn't ALWAYS have chips and salsa available? Weird.
Waffle was undercooked. Birra tacos were good. Bacon was overcooked. Omelette stand was ok but the server would just ignore you unless you really pushed for his attention. Saw this multiple times and he only had one omelette going on a 2 omelette station.
I will say, it took me right back to me being 18 and drinking at bars in Tijuana. But I didn't want that today, lol.
Not my style so I...
