I have never written a review in my life but I am very upset right now about the customer service at our World Market. I love the store and merchandise. Earlier this year I purchased 4 mugs ( World Market brand). I washed them by hand ( don't own a dishwasher) and don't put them in the microwave (use a k cup device). They developed cracking and chipping on the inside at the bottom and I am afraid to have people use them. It is obviously a glazing issue. I took them back to the store, thinking they would either replace them or refund the money. Nope!! The manager took a half hearted look at them and said there was really nothing he could do. When I acted surprised and tried to point out that it was obviously a manufacturing defect, he reluctantly took my name and phone number and said he would check on it and then I was dismissed. Don't they stand behind their products? I do a lot of shopping there but I will think twice before going there again after being...

You can always find something unique, beautiful & special for anybody here. Jewelry, clothes, furniture, decor, holiday items, food & drink, specialty items of all kinds - you mame it, they've got at least a little bit of it!! Reasonably priced, checkout was fast, pleasant store atmosphere. My only complaint is that it's not bigger - more items of course would be even better, but it is a tight squeeze encountering others. But, it's not bad & so worth it! From kitchenwares to toys, I always find just what I'm looking for & much more than I thought I needed. Employees are always friendly & helpful & available. Even for a smaller store, there's so much to look at & check out that I can't wait to return to see what else...
