Atmosphere is great but service was horrible. It took reminding our server several times to get our drinks. The server still brought me the wrong drink, after taking it back off of the table next to ours where it was incorrectly delivered. The server argued with me that it was the wrong drink. The manager had to come light the grill for the server and overheard me telling the server it was not what I ordered. She corrected the server and agreed it wasn’t the right drink so they finally remade it. We finally got our rice 20 min after asking multiple times. Lettuce must in short supply because getting that took an act of God. When we finally did get lettuce it was all dirty. When one of our plates of meat got delivered the girl delivering it dumped meat blood all over the table, said “oops” and walked away. We had several dirty dishes at the end of the table. A busser and a food runner each came by and took one dirty dish and left the rest. Our server was MIA most of the time but did stop by to set our table on fire. She had forgotten to add water to the bottom of the grill pan. We had been cooking for 30 minutes already. She tried to blame it on someone else but it was her mistake. She took the grill cover off, with the food cooking in it, dumped a bunch of water in the bottom of the grill which sent huge flames shooting up everywhere. We were all in a booth and almost got severely burned. She then ran and got a shaker of salt to put the fire out and covered the entire table in salt. After waiting 20 minute for her to clean up the mess and get a new grill set up, we had to wait for more food to come since she wasted what we had cooking. 5 minutes after being back up and running she came to remind us we had about 40 minutes left of our two hour time limit! When it was time to pay our server stood at our table staring at us and waiting for us to hand her our money. She rolled her eyes when she counted our money and realized she got the tip she deserved. I doubt we will return. We LOVE Korean barbecue and frequently visit JPot when we are near Minneapolis. This place could take a few lessons from them. K pot needs ALOT of training for the employees and maybe need to fire a few and get people in there that actually want to...
Read moreMy 2 high school nephews and I ate here on. Wednesday night. When we walked in, I noticed that it looked and smelled clean. We were greeted and seated immediately. The manager Jeremiah came to the table and greeted us and told us how everything worked, as two of us had never been there before. He was helpful and friendly! Then our server, Ryan came to the table and took our drink order and introduced us to another server he was training. When he left the table, one of my nephews said, “I like that guy!” He WAS so fun! We all commented that he must be fun to work with. We went to the sauce bar, and again, I was struck by how perfectly clean everything looked. The food we ordered almost beat us back to the table and one of my nephews started “cooking” for us! I kept thinking what a fun family experience this was and how it would be fun for friends, date night, birthday, etc. I’m from out of state and I wish I could go here more often. The service continued to be amazing! Ryan was maybe one of the most fun servers I’ve ever had. Jeremiah the manager kept stopping back in and checking on us and even adjusted our grill temp once. The food was EXCELLENT! We ate several kinds of beef, some chicken and some pork. It all seemed like good quality. Ryan even made us a special sauce that was delicious! Before we left, we had another lady manager stop by and check on us. Literally every detail of this dining experience was the best I could have hoped for. It wasn’t like the place was empty. It was 7 pm when we got there. The employees were busy but engaging and attentive. The birthday celebrations that went on while we were there were quite the deal (in a good way I suppose) and I can see why people would choose to go there to celebrate. I can’t even write everything that was good about this experience! I highly recommend! We are still talking about...

As a local real estate agent with the Dave & Co. Real Estate Team, I’m always exploring new places around the Sioux Empire to recommend to clients moving to the area. Whether you're settling into a new home or just looking for a fun night out, Kpot Korean BBQ and Hot Pot in Sioux Falls, SD, is worth checking out.
The concept is fantastic—all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ and hot pot, where you cook your own food right at the table. It’s a perfect spot for families, couples, or even team outings. The variety of meats, seafood, and fresh veggies ensures there’s something for everyone, and the spicy broth adds just the right kick if you like a little heat.
The atmosphere is modern and upbeat, making it a fun addition to the ever-growing Sioux Falls dining scene. The staff was friendly, there was just not enough room on the table. That’s the only reason I’d rate it 4 stars instead of 5. But if you’re patient, the experience is worth it!
For anyone moving to Sioux Falls or exploring neighborhoods like Harrisburg, Tea, or Lennox, Kpot is a great local dining option to enjoy after a day of house hunting. It’s nice to see more unique restaurants popping up in the area, adding to what makes the Sioux Empire such a fantastic place to live.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Definitely recommend...
