I walked in, no hello. The women at the counter didn't even look my way when the bell rang. Walked across the entire upper floor, tried on 2 pair of sandals that I LOVED. Saw a wristlet also. In women's plus I found the perfect dress for a upcoming wedding. While I'm shopping 2 other employees walked within 2 ft of me. Walked downstairs to the sale section. The women at the register looked away as I smiled at her. Found a couple tops. I have a rule when I shop anywhere but especially boutique or small independent shops. If you can't greet me or at least acknowledge me with a smile. I REFUSE to spend my hard earned $$ there. I was dressed in lands end black shorts and a blue notched v-neck T. I was not sloppy looking, not that it should matter. I'm 53 ad my long hair back in a messy bun. Perhaps it was too messy. Before I left I tried one more time to see if I'd get acknowledged. 2 employees were at the counter, no customers in site. I started looking at items displayed around the counter. NOTHING!! I politely mentioned to the ladies the reason I wasn't purchasing the $375 in products I had really liked. I got a very rude- we must have been busy! So happy I spent almost $500 at Bliss earlier in the day. I was immediately greeted. As I shopped an employee set items on the counter that I was holding. I'm back for several days in November. I've made my list of stores I will be Xmas shopping at. On Deck will not be one of them. It's ashame, they're just a...
Read moreLet me start by saying that although this store is clean, has many options of clothing for both men and women, and has great customer service, I must say that unless you have $100+ to spend on one to two (maybe) shirts then you're better off going anywhere else that sells clothes. After searching for clothing stores near me and going to the first 6 options due to the simple fact that not only were they close to my hotel, but were all right near each other. Only to discover that the 3 stores dedicated to selling men's clothes had all either moved or shut down. The other 3 had women's clothing and nothing else. Shopko which is right up the road and probably has easier parking didn't even show up under my original search. Showing up to this store as my last resort and checking the first price tag I immediately regretted walking in. After about 30 minutes of shaking my head at every price tag I saw I finally caved and spent $69 dollars on a single shirt. A plain grey button up shirt. You can almost definitely find a better shirt and better priced shirt at any Wal-Mart, in fact you might actually save a few bucks driving 25 miles to the nearest Wal-Mart rather than spending any money at this tourist reliant, over...
Read moreReally liked the men’s clothes on display here. Quality fabrics, classic yet progressive style. I honestly liked every piece on the rack.
We were in the souvenir portion of the store looking for a “Door County” sweater for my girl, so they do have that kind of stuff. But also boutique style clothing in men’s and women’s, and beach wear also. There are several locations throughout DC and their sales extended to other locations. So you can bring your receipt to other stores to find different pieces in...
