The Yacht Club at Sister Bay — Hotel in Sister Bay

Love it here. We've stayed at the Yacht Club a number of times over the years. You simply can't beat the location. Close to it all but still feels secluded. We loved being able to walk out the Door and pop over to Zeke's Market for some late afternoon snacks and wine, or simply explores all the shops in Sister Bay.

We've never really had a bad stay per se, but one caveat is that not all of the rooms are the same like you might find in some of the more traditional resorts. We've been in at least four or five different units and some were quite new and beautiful and others were clearly older, and while still nice, could probably benefit from some updating. I'm not sure how that works from an owner perspective or if the YC dictates any of that but I'd suspect that's up to the owner. Again, not really complaining about this, just pointing it out to anyone that might be new to potentially staying here. (I've included a couple photos as an example of one such room.)

This is our "go to" place when we visit Sister Bay, WI. We have stayed in two different 1 bedroom condos and both have been great. They are clean, comfortable and our last one had a great view of the water. Both were well equipped with whatever you might need if eating in. There is a nice indoor pool too. Centrally located so you can walk to or drive to the places of interest in the town. Staff is very helpful. One thing we did not know that might help others. We stayed on the 3rd floor of one of the units and it was a great "trudge" of getting our luggage and items we brought from home from the car to the third floor (there is an elevator though). However it took many trips. We found out later there is a cart we could have rolled down from the office to our car that would have been very helpful. Mom and I have visited this establishment once a year for over 15 years. Had a two night reservation in May of this year and the day before our arrival mom had to have emergency surgery. I called with this unfortunate news and requested that we change our reservation to this fall. Absolutely no way they would work with me, we lost our $355 down payment. So unfortunate that a long time customer gets no consideration for their past patronage.
