Read moreI had high hopes for this place and was very excited to try it. The decor and atmosphere was great, but sadly, that is the only thing it had going for it. The food was mediocre for an authentic Mexican restaurant. Disappointed by the chips and salsa. The chips could have come from a bag and the salsa was like a pasty bean sauce of some sort. The service was terrible. We spent about 3 hours there purely because we had to wait more than 30 min for the waiter to come back to our table for anything. They ran out of so many items on their menu including the specialty item that was written on the board. Apparently, they ran out of that days prior but it was still written up there. There was no urgency with anything that we ordered. Part of our tables food came out and then the remainder took about 20 min. Instead of going instantly back for the remainder of our food, the waiter assisted other tables while we sat and waited with just a few meals. We ordered the chips and salsa but he forgot so we asked for them again once our meals came. He must have known that we were there forever and displeased because when we asked for the check, he asked if we wanted complimentary margaritas. There was no bar so these came out of a pitcher that was sitting on the counter in the main dining area. At first, I thought they tasted good but we could only drink a quarter of it because they were so thick and tart. We paid the bill and left because instantly one person in our party started to feel sick. 5 min into the car ride home, had to pull over so he could vomit. I believe the overly sweet Margarita was what caused this. I wish this establishment the best, but we will not...
Read moreok, hear me out. If I could give it 3.5 stars I would. The appetizers and drink selections were ok. The salsa with the chips was more like a purée or spaghetti sauce, the chips tasted odd, the queso reminded me of melted mozzarella in a bowl with chopped up green peppers (she said it had jalepenos in it but I think not 😂) you couldn’t dip the chips in it bc it was just a melted.bowl.of.actual.cheese that came with tortillas so we just forked some in a jawn and had a cheese quesadilla? (we ordered it bc the salsa was ick) Margarita was yummy. I tried to order the burrito bowl but it’s only a lunch item ($17 lunch item) I guess? So, I couldn’t get it for dinner, fine. So I panic ordered the veggie Fajitas ($20) for literally onions and peppers with 5 tortillas (no rice included, no cheese, just pico, guac and sour cream (small jawns) the side of rice was small, like a 1 cup measuring cup amount…. it was delicious tho! The ribeye for the fajitas was incredible tasting. Service was good, busy for a friday night so we understood and didn’t mind, the restaurant inside and outside was absolutely stunning. Beautiful summer evening. Bathroom is inside behind the kitchen. Overall glad we stopped in and would dine again would just skip the appetizers and BYOB. I think it was...
