The Grand Fromage — Local services in Skippack Township

Ok if you're a cheese phanatic, toy are going to love this place. You will not find anything Kraft in this store. You'll only find cheese that you probably never knew existed. All are terrific. The staff(when we were there it was the mother and son) will give you a free sample if you ask, and both know about the product they sell. My wife and I bought 3 different cheeses, and a small bottle of flavorethed oil. They have everything you can imagine for your dinner or just a wine and cheese party. The prices of the cheese and other food might seem a little rich, but you don't have to buy a pound of any of their cheese selection, and there items are not mass produced. This is perhaps one of my favorite places to visit in Skippack.

Perhaps it's because I love cheese. Perhaps it's the amazing staff who are patient, friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. Or maybe it's the fact that their selection is second to none? Really, it's any combination of the three!

If you choose to visit, make sure you stick a copy of your receipt in their storage box- that way when you (inevitably) return, you can see about getting more of your favorites!!

If you choose NOT to visit, then you're just doing yourself and anyone else you'd potentially share your bounty with a huge disservice......

We stopped in here after trying one of their wonderful board arrangements at a local winery. The shop is clean and organized with an incredible selection. We quickly realized that we didn't have a certain goal in mind while looking for cheese and was instantly helped by a very friendly member of that staff, who walked us through all the options, gave us suggestions, and let us ask many questions.
