I went into Tj Maxx yesterday to get two Valentineās Day pillows, I get to the counter to pay for my things I ask the cashier to scan my TJ Maxx discount card. I didnāt have the hard copy on me so I showed her the one in my phone. Mind you I always shop at this location and whenever I donāt have my hard copy I use my phone. The cashier (she was on the second to the last register on the end at 7pm 12/27) she proceeded to tell me I couldnāt use my card. I ask her why while the young lady next to her with the push brooms stuck to her eyes stared at me like I was wrong for asking the question. She said ā Iāll go ask my managerā she came back and said āweāre not suppose to scan from the phoneā I said āI was literally in here two days again purchasing a macron stool and I scanned my phone for my discountā she said āwe canāt do itā so I said ādonāt worry about it then thank youā and I walked away. As I walked away she dropped the items I picked up behind the counter and said really sarcastically āhave a nice dayā and the cashier next to her says ā youāre so petty.ā So I turned around and told her āshe can be petty all she wants and I was not the oneā. This store really has poor customer service even the day I went in for my macron stool the stool didnāt have a sticker pice tag on it so the cashier tried to guess the price she told me $89 I said itās another stool back there the sticker said $59.99 she called for someone to check the sticker I stood at the counter for 10 minutes before deciding to just go get the other stool myself. Not even a week later I ended up wanting to return it because I found something better elsewhere so I returned to the same location. The cashier immediately started looking at my item up and down then said āthe tag on here is wrong. We donāt sell this item here so you cannot get a refundā. I asked to speak with multiple people including managers and each said the same thing. Basically some random shirt got put on their shelves with a TJ Maxx tag and they refused to issue any kind of refund though it was obviously their fault. What kind of quality control is this when random items are on your sales floor that you donāt claim responsibility for?! No one apologized as they literally stood there and stole my money. I asked what I could do in the future to prevent something like this from happening and they couldnāt give me a straight answer. Something super fishy is going on here! They said that the cashier who originally checked me out wouldnāt have caught the error but as a customer Iām out of luck if I choose to return or exchange. So there could literally be hundreds of fake items on the sales floor that arenāt sold by TJMaxx but with their tags and after you purchase it and try to return, you cannot get your money back.
Oh, I ended up going to a different TJMaxx store and was able to return and get a refund with NO PROBLEM!! Avoid this location at all cost! The corporate phone line was closed at the time of this incident but I plan to file...

While there I saw a bracelet that I was interested in buying. While waiting there, the employee in charge of that section ignored me the entire time. I decided to walk away and meet up with my mom. I decided to return a second time but this time with my mother in hopes that she would pay attention to us. As I was waiting there, at least 5 more customers came after me. After she was done helping a customer that arrived before me, she proceeded to ignore me and help everyone else that came after me. Even after another customer told her that we were there before her she still ignored us and helped that customer. She was absolutely disrespectful. Iād understand if she was extremely busy and people were swarming her, but she didnāt even look our way once and even after a customer informed her we were there first she proceeded to ignore us. Thankfully the cashier that cashed us out helped us out. She went out of her way to make sure I got my bracelet.
