Today, I had thee worst experience ever at this crumbl cookie location. I frequent this location every other weekend at minimum for a late night snack or dessert with the kids. Today was totally different than any other experience I had ever had. The staff are never super friendly, but the warm cookies always make up for that.
The experience started off pretty normal with me asking the staff about the new cinnamon cakes. Their responses were lackadaisical and mundane at best. I then asked about a few cookies and whether they were warm or not. I decided to go with the Oreo cookie which was hard and cold. I decided I did not want the hard and cold cookie and returned it for a cake and paid extra. Would you believe it if I told you the cake was cold and uncooked?
I decided I would give it one more shot. Swapping it out. Each time I asked or mentioned the cookie or cake was cold I was helped but in a less than favorable way. Borderline attitudes. After finally receiving the 3rd item and returning the other two items I had finally had a warm good tasting cookie. Strawberry shortcake cookie was amazing.
As Iām eating the cookie in the parking lot. I bite down chewing on something very hard. Initially I thought one of my molars or back teeth had cracked and fallen out. I spit it out and it was a bead from a bracelet. Iām shocked and puzzled at this point. So I start to break the cookie apart even more and find another clear bead and plastic string from a bracelet of some sort. I immediately turned back around and went back into the store.
At this point I had already received horrible service the first two times. I was expecting some sort of empathy or understanding considering the situation. I explained that I had just found beads in my cookie to the gentleman working. He got the cookie broke it open and found several other black beads and objects and immediately tossed the cookie in the trash with out taking any pictures. Another employee responded and said no one that works here wears those bracelets as if I was lying or implied as if there was no way this could have happened. He then responded very nasty ādo you want a refund or remake?ā
No sir! Where the hell is the apology, empathy 94 consideration for what feels like a broken tooth and eating hard plastic inside of your food?
I work in customer service for a professional sports team in the area. So I felt inclined to teach in that moment and explained to the staff that you do NOT treat customers like that. Loyal customers you have crumbl rewards and loyalty rewards. The staff at Snellville Crumbl were very standoffish and hesitant to provide a managers information or be helpful at all.

I ordered SEVEN Dubai chocolate cookies THREE milk chocolate ONE STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE and only ONE chocolate mallow cupcake cookie. I arrived to pick up my order around 11 and was told that they had already finished the strawberry cheesecake at first it was fine and it was okay to put a chocolate chip instead. When I opened the box at home I saw that not only as the cheesecake replaced but two of the Dubai chocolate cookies were replaced too. I had ordered each cookie to each persons preference and serving these cookies to CHILDREN who I asked beforehand what they would like was very frustrating and humiliating. I paid for the order last night, a preorder. I don't understand why I wasn't given a gift card to make up for the cash I had lost. I paid SEVENTY dollars. The Dubai chocolate cookies were upcharged $3 and my missing strawberry cheesecake which I was craving was an ulcharged $1. I lost $7 not including tax. If items are out of stock they should be listed as is and not purchaseable online. I'm highly dissappointed and feel humiliated at the gathering today, what a waste. When I got the cookies I noticed that the strawberry crumble did not cover the entire top of the cookies as it appeared in the photos and I asked for extra crumble so that I can sprinkle it myself. The young lady that assisted me told me that all of the cookies looked that way even though the cookies that my son had did not look like mine and he ordered the same cookie. When I brought this to her attention and showed her the cookies, she then said that they did not have any more made. I asked her how long it would be before they made more, and she commented with I do not know. I asked her if I could just have the crumble to add to my cookies myself and she said no because it needed to be baked. Not once did she tell me that I could wait for more cookies to be baked and so I asked myself and she responded again with she didnāt know when more would be baked.
