Little Mexico Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Snellville

If I could give this place a negative rating I would. I endured incredibly blatant and disrespectful discrimination at my visit. I was seated, ordered, served my drinks and then told that I needed to move because a larger party needed my table. Last time I checked that is not how it works. The owner came to my table two times to ask if I wanted to move to a booth and I said no I’m fine. The third time she abruptly and rudely told me I needed to move because she needed my table.

My family was the only ethnic family there. I felt like we were clearly discriminated against. I asked our waiter to ask the owner if ONE of our drinks could be comped for the inconvenience. A few moments later the owner barged over and extremely rudely told me I could just pay for our beverages and leave if we had an issue. When I expressed to her that she made me feel incredible insulted, belittled, and as if she singled my family out she scoffed at me and handed me my bill.

When the family that heard they took my table saw this they stood up for me AND ONLY THEN would the owner say I didn’t need to worry about my bill while at the same time trying to usher me out of the door because she was so embarrassed that this family saw who she was and what she was. I am a nurse, I work hard for my community and tonight was the most I’ve ever felt disrespected by my fellow community member.. She should be absolutely ashamed of her behavior. Stopped here s quick lunch break. They were pretty busy and full. We sat on patio and it was nice. Service was prompt. I don't see myself returning though. The salsa reminder me of a marinara more the salsa. Which is suppose to be one of the best parts of Mexican dining. I order a shrimp and steak taco. The shrimp didn't have much flavor and was bland. The steak was better but the ratio of meat to toppings was off. My guy order their version of fajita nachos, it's listed under different name. They waiter ended up bringing out beef nachos instead of steak fajitas. He decided just to eat them. The beef however looked like it had been drain or rinsed. There was oil pooling in the chesse sauce on the plate. There queso was also really thin. The chips ended up getting very soggy before he was even half way into the plate and he eats fast. The beef also was lacking the right kind of taste. The seasoning was bland and tasted like it came straight out of a packet and was the right amount for the meat they made. Overall service wasn't bad, but the food is not something I'm going to return or recommend to someone else. It did seem a lot of people were enjoying there drinks so maybe check that out if your interested.

Side note on layout of place is that it felt very crowded and stuffy. They were busy but the table layout was a bit close and with everyone talking it was humming in that small space. The bar area was a little better. Couple of two seater booths and...

Like another rater said, this place needs to be run out of town. It is small, the waiters are horrible. As I stated before small less than 15 tables,including booths. The table we were at, the sun was honestly blinding me. I asked if they could cover the window. Well I'll admit he tried covering the sun with 3 sheets of paper. So I just held my head down, by the time the waiter brought the menu I couldn't see it from the sun shining in my face. Anyways we ordered the queso and chips -horrible, now you're probably saying how can you mess that up it's just cheese and chips? The cheese was soupy and didn't really have a taste, not just my taste buds we all thought this 😀. I ordered the chicken burritos with double rice,. Everything was done and bland. Just not satisfying. When I tried asking the waiter if there was any sauce or something missing he couldn't understand English. We had to ask for napkins he gave us 1 a piece, didn't refill the drinks/waters. I was too done by now. I was really hungry not to mention I had not eaten anything all day from the time I woke up at 5am till I got there around 8pm that night. 15 hours to get this type of service!
