Shopped here for 25yrs and loved this store. Today looking for small electrical parts and was trumped as they didn’t have what I wanted and looked for sometime seeing if I could make it work. Decided to check elsewhere and then come back if unsuccessful. The lady then said something along the lines that we sometimes we put things in our pockets and don’t remeber to take out and put back. We have been going to this store for twenty years and they never disappoint. It is amazing to me how much they fit into this small store. When my children were young they used to buy birthday gifts here for their friends because they have a fun selection of eclectic toys and games. My iron broke right in the middle of a project and I was able to run to Carmichael's to pick one up. And of course, they have tools and hardware for all of our home improvement projects. Wendy and Bryan operate the very best hardware store. If you are in a hurry, forget the big box store, you’ll be surprised at how much Carmichael’s has in-stock and True Value has prices as good even less than what you would pay elsewhere with their private label.
