Beans & Brews Coffee House — Restaurant in South Jordan

On friday July 11, 2025 I ordered a lemonade and a black iced tea. I received my drinks and took a sip of the lemonade. There was zero sugar in it just lemon concentrate and water. It was beyond bitter. I turned around and went back through the drive thru. The young lady named Ali at the window proceeded to speak down to me and I attempted to explain that I order the lemonade all the time and that it had zero sweetener in it and invited her to taste their lemonade. I asked for a refund since both drinks were for me. She indicated she didn’t know how to refund me. She said she would need to figure out or she could have the manager call me. I indicated that I would wait on the refund and she then slammed the window shut. She came back and told me in a very nasty voice that she couldn’t figure it out. She took my phone number for the manager to call. I’ve attempted to call since no one has called me and no one answers. I’ve never experienced this level of disrespect and generally enjoy all of the beans and brews as I commute a distance and go to numerous locations daily. Guess I’m on the lookout for a new tea place as this is not acceptable especially over a lemonade that was...

This is one of my favorite Beans locations. The interior has had some thought put into making it a pleasant place to sit and enjoy. I've never had anything less than polite, friendly, excellent service at this location. I was most impressed the day I was in when some new hires were being trained, and the barista in charge was explaining how he treats every drink like it's being made for someone he knows and likes, because people are paying a lot for a drink, and he wants them to enjoy it. Awesome! Someone who understands what customer service is, and makes me happy to be a customer there! I also love that this location is not skimpy on the pesto when I add it to a BCheesy; some other locations dot it on and I have to open the sandwich to see if it has been forgotten. This location is close and convenient to my house and it used to be really good but everytime I get a drink there the quality just gets worse. This morning I stopped and waited 10 min behind a single car and though the barista did apologize for the wait my drink was awful. I get the same thing everytime and I know when it's made correctly and when it's not a mocha with irish cream and lavender. My drink was gritty with grounds and you can't taste any of the flavoring. There are so many coffee grounds you can see them they coat the top and side of the lid and top inside of the cup. I'm going to have to change locations because this shop has just been turning out awful drinks. I've never even from other coffee businesses had my drink be gritty and filled with coffee...
