Duck Donuts — Restaurant in South Jordan

My favorite donut shop hands down. I've enjoyed all of the flavors and concoctions that I've tried so far. That being said, the 1 star review is for the customer service I just received. 11/15/21. I believe this is my 1st negative review in 10+ years. Didnt catch any names or I would post. 2 girls and a young man. Walked in to them talking with each other in the corner of the store. No problems there. I didnt wait long to be helped. One of the girls came to help me. Told her my name and which set of donuts I thought was mine as I was doing a pick up order. She walks over without eye contact, lightly shoves(yes shoves/throws) my donuts at me across the counter, to which I say "thank you" very politely. She turns around to walk off without a word. So I said out loud " Your welcome...". As I had just tipped them $5 for their time and would expect some sort of nice reply or etiquette (maybe its just me and good customer service is dead), she turns around without hesitation and says "F^%$ YOU!". Not "excuse me" or "I'm sorry", but "F^%$ YOU". Completely blew me away! Then she tries to say that she was "happy" to give me donuts. LMAO. Without saying a word...right. A little argument ensued for about 30 seconds to which her 2 co-workers came to her aid. To no avail, I was indeed the bad guy here. Long story long... I WOULD RECOMMEND SAVING YOUR TIPS HERE, as the staff is completely ungrateful and unskilled in service. In a sense this is just a warning, but I encourage all to still enjoy the donuts here as I still will. I had to make it known what I encountered and hope the proper steps can be taken to better my favorite donut shops...

I came here on the recommendation of friends. Wow was I surprised! The quality of freshly baked doughnuts exceeded my expectations even after the rave reviews of my friends!

I love the Fall because it brings pumpkin spice everything, and I love my pumpkin spice! Go ahead and judge me. I don't care.

But I went to this South Jordan store to get six pumpkin spice strudel doughnuts and six apple pie doughnuts because my friend told me yesterday it's like an explosion of Fall in my mouth ... and he wasn't wrong!

Both of the flavors I ordered are supposed to be made with a strudel topping and this Duck Donuts location was completely out of the strudel topping this morning. That was unfortunate because I generally really love strudel toppings on pies and cakes. I'm sure the strudel topping would have made the dozen doughnuts I purchased even better!

But even without the strudel topping, the warm, fresh doughnuts were incredibly delicious and I still got my pumpkin spice flavored doughnuts!

I definitely recommend these doughnuts to anyone who loves freshly baked doughnuts! My only recommendation to management is stock more strudel topping and fix your oven so you can once again make (and sell) breakfast sandwiches! That was an opportunity for additional revenue for you this morning, but can't make money on menu items that you cannot produce.

I will be back to this store at some point in time to get more doughnuts...

First time. HORRIBLE experience. Outside their door was a rotten banana and peel and a shake thrown all over their door and the dirtiest doors and handles. Looks like they hadn’t cleaned the glass in a month! I arrived at 7:07am. They were supposed to be open at 7am and weren’t. Then she finally opened the doors at 7:10 and didn’t greet me or anything, acted like I was an inconvenience. She didn’t even turn the store lights on for me. She was wearing socks with slippers. Wouldn’t even look up at me. I said I hadn't been there before and asked what she liked and she pointed to one and said these are our most popular. Soni was watching donuts come out of the fry and into the bowl and all the donuts were coming out and going round in their biwl and getting cut and ruined and falling on the floor. I told her and she said it’s ok we have plenty and will make more. Then the broken ones on the floor (that just got squished because they were overflowing in the bin) the guy picked up off the floor with his glove and left his glove on and then started working on the online orders!! I was going to ask him to change if he was preparing mine. She did. Whew. But such a bad attitude! When she was done with mine she took her glove off and and inside out laid it on the counter! Gross! I thanked her. Twice! And told her to have a good day. Not one response. Needless to say. I will not be going back. And I’m not one to...
