I spend $50.00 on Friday night. Very disappointed when I found you had to create a new account and I lost my account prior to 11/7/2023- with money I lost on the rewards system I not interested in coming to Costa Vida again. What company launches a new online app program that doesn’t test the program. What company doesn’t have quality assurance and work abouts, and not having the developers be the quality assurance for the old app and new apps. I lost good earned money I have spend at Costa Vida over the years and this is down right dishonest of the company. Losing my pts from previous visits and today’s purchase. Also - when I try to create an account to roll over my pts . I can’t. My daughter got an email so she could create a new account. However, I never got an email to create a new account and roll both accounts together. What company doesn’t print the QR code on the receipts too so I could get credit for my purchase today.
Two other complaints - when I ordered my salad they charge for a salad and now putting meat on the salad ? I had to correct them . And again , if someone doesn’t order beans then they get charge meat . Well I’m allergic to beans therefore , why would I be charged for the meat? Doesn’t make sense.
The other thing - just lower your damn prices . Then we don’t have to play the stupid games of pts and apps . We are in a recession and the games you have to play isn’t worth it. I’ll just take my business to Cafe Rio. I bought 4 meals for 4 people and my experience...
Read moreI feel similar to a recent comment below. I never feel the need to leave reviews and have maybe only left a couple in my life but the service here was so terrible. They give off the impression that they don’t even see or care that you’re there. Guy seemed extremely annoyed when I asked if I could have my order for an allergy order. When I checked out the cashier just looked at me until I asked him “am I suppose to tell you what I ordered?” And he replied yes. I told him, he didn’t say anything back so I just inserted my card and he still didn’t say anything until I asked if I’m good to go when he finally replied “yes.” Not to mention I had to reach an arms length in just grab my order because they left it close to the back of the counter. The lady in line in front of me seemed irritated as well. Lastly, I got to my car and didn’t have any silverware so I went in and asked if I could get some and all 3 employees stared at me and just seemed completely lost and uninterested in what was going on. Read moreWe go to Costa Vida a lot, but usually to other locations. This one must not be managed well. The line took longer than usual, they were out of steak and refried beans. The tables were mostly dirty and the ice machine had no ice. The area where you get napkins and utensils was covered with horchata, the garbage was overflowing and to top it off, my quesidilla was overcooked. The cashier probably wasn't well trained because he said he didn't know what food we had. Additionally, I had to ask if he needed the receipt signed, after which I was not offered a reciept. I then had to get my own drink cups which I asked for and didn't receive. As I ate my meal I watched 5 employees sit around and chat. One talked on his cell while slowly putting utensils away. Another employee came in from taking the garbage out, finally, and then proceeded to snag a cookie out of the cookie basket by the cash register before washing his hands and probably without paying.l for it either. If you like Costa Vida, don't go to this location until they clean up...
