The best sandcastle lesson experience in south Padre! I had taken a lesson many years ago from Sandy feet and now again as an adult. I was surprised that the technique and class changed and evolved. Our instructor Jose was great and explained and demonstrated everything very well. We learned that there is no failure in sandcastle because you can just rebuild. And we learned that the force (gravity) does most of the work of making the sandcastle. So cool to see how the art of sand castling has evolved and changed since the last time I took a lesson. We met Lucinda on a blusterery day on the Saturday after Thanksgiving '21- although she did give us the option to try to reschedule for better weather. She dug right in and we joined right away. Don't be afraid of getting wet and sandy and getting some exercise! She gave us great hints on which common tools we could make/use, the sand/water ratio, building towers, making stairs, doors, windows, and etc. In addition, we had great conversations and laughter while concentrating on our artistic efforts. I cannot recommend this service highly enough. Yeah, you could go to the beach and dump buckets of sand, but there is a skill, science, and art to building a sandcastle that can elevate you and your family's beach experience forever. That is the service this company is providing you. Our teacher, Jose, was incredible and clearly has the gift of teaching. He engaged our whole family from the Nana to our youngest child of 4 y/o on their level. I would have appreciated this class just as much even if I were booking it for myself.
