Had an excellent customer service from Deepika a while back but unfortunately you cannot expect consistency in any customer service environment. Must havebeen Samanthas 1st time processing a return. Went East Brunswick and purchase items on separate receipts which is unusual so later when I wentvto south plainfield brought in the wrong receipt went to the car to get thevrightvone and invthe meantime asked Samatha to justvringbup what ai was purchasing. Came back and since the label was damaged she kept scanning and I am saying to myself why does she not enter the number manuallyb..you can still see the numbers on both the receipt and the tag on the product. The tag was split but #s still visible. Also as aLoyalty purchase as reflected on the receipt shouldn't there be a way toblook up the item? The nice lady I always see working pleasantly and always most helpful on the floor suggested a search with my credit card and unfortunately no success..Anyway I finally got through and Samathan asked to go on break so it was only the 2 of them. Headed out the door and the alarm went off. Went back for them to assist and waited while Nicole finished with a customer. She ignored me I was not there so I stepped up and she with her dismissive tone and not looking at me told me I need to wait because the next person was waiting for a while. I know when someone does not like me because I do the same..I do not look them in the eye. We'll Sherbrooke off the security piece and I asked if Samatha was new and her name still not looking at me.She gave me her name Nicole..still not looking at me. BTW when she snapped at me to wait folks turned around looking. Hopefully you can watch it..anyway I just went back in and low and behold the alarm went off ..again on someone else in which when immediately attended to while she had another customer. Perfect example of "selective customer service" well anyway let me post my receipts and a picture of Nicole. Poor...
Read moreBecareful on buying defective or damage items. When trying to return within the policy time period, I was accused for damaging the product. We went shopping before Christmas, and bought a jewlery box, when we got home we noticed that jems were missing and there was a small crack in the mirror. I thought return was within 30 days, so didn't think I needed to rush to go return or exchange. I went back about 3 weeks after purchasing and was told I can not return as it was damaged and missing the jems. I told them, that is the reason I am returning, I noticed it after bringing it home. The Cashier was accusing me that the damage happened after taking it home because of the gap of me not returning sooner. She went and said something to the manager and came back to me and said they wont accept return and to read the return policy. I left feeling embarrassed for being accused of being a liar. I could understand them thinking the damaged happened if it was used, but the tags and stickers were still on the box. Still not 30 days yet and other jems are staring to peel off. I sent a complaint email and was told bc the store denied, they can't do anything. If you shop at this store make sure to examine the best you can that the product is not damaged before buying because they may not accept the return. The store is great, shopped here from being a kid, but felt the customer service is not...
Read moreTerrible men's athletic shoe and clothes selection. I was not pleased when I saw a worker walk out of the back, holding Jordan 8's with the box, as well as many other shoes and Nike clothes. I was certainly not pleased when I saw these items posted on Instagram, by the name of "let_us_profit". His account consists of very expensive shoes, saying he got them for very cheap especially with his employee discount. He included a link to his eBay page, where he resells all the items he has bought for a discount. He later removed the eBay link. As well as this, his latest two Instagram posts show a $180 Nike vest on clearance for $6.99, and a pair of $220 vapormaxes "mistakenly" priced at $20! How convenient that a worker that works in the back, whose intentions are to resell the items he purchases gets 2 extremely high end Nike items both tagged incorrectly. Quite suspicious if you ask me. Would not recommend coming here if you are looking for any quality items until this employee who is taking advantage of his job gets fired. He started reselling near September 2020, but only started his job at Burlington in late 2020 to early 2021. This clearly shows his only intentions of working at Burlington is to take advantage of his employee discount, take items from the back, and misprice items in order to resell them on eBay for...
