After coming here since it was just a pop up shop, things have changed. The girls here are so rude. They act as if everything is an inconvenience for them.
I've been to kpopnara in Chicago and everyone there was so kind and held a lovely conversation! But here? No way.
Went just the other day and the two girls there groaned as we walked in. And were annoyed when we came to the counter.
Even went about two weeks prior and brought my younger brother who loves kpop. He has autism and is a bit slower than others at times. He was at the check out trying to purchase his item and the girl working, was so impatient. She sighed aggressively after he set the picture down and practically yanked the money from his hand. Far from appropriate.
Stark contrast between here and the cafe. The girls here need to be knocked down a peg or two because they have a large chip on their shoulder.
Please fix the staff issues. It's become unpleasant to shop here. Will make less frequent stops in,...
Read moreI really like this place as it's a physical store, but it is super pricey. Some things are almost ten dollars more than buying it elsewhere. I have splurged here to shop small business, but I'm starting to shy away due to the pricing. It sucks that I have to, but when items are eight dollars or more than everywhere else, can't do anything about it.
I also feel less inclined to shop here after seeing on their Instagram that they were selling POBs for an extra charge. :( I did see their explanation, so I hope things get fixed for them. I don't want to give it three stars though, because the employees are all really kind and I do appreciate things like their accessibility. Everything I said could be not such a problem for someone else.
I say give the place a chance and see what's right for you. I'll probably go to the cafe more and just look around...
Read moreI’m generally not one to post negative reviews publicly, but unfortunately I feel like this is necessary. I used to have so much fun coming to this store, but my business now feels unwanted and unwelcome at this location. Staff members answer simple questions rudely and act like you’re bothering them when you walk into the store. I have visited Kpop Nara in Chicago and Kpop Nara in Seattle, and had very pleasant interactions with the staff members at these locations. Staff members at the other stores were excited to talk about purchases with you / curious about what members you want to pull. I don’t expect above and beyond customer service like that, but I also don’t expect to be treated like a bother when shopping either. If it wasn’t for the great selection of merch items I cannot buy elsewhere, I would have taken my business...
