Unfortunately this is my first review, normally I'm a super low key type. I'll always go back to restaurants with good food. I've been always going to jinji for lunch once every week plus dinner over at daebak. So I, that was with the party of 12 over the Fourth of July had ordered originally 1 daebak combos plus additional meat orders that were split off between 2 tables. We had so much leftover meat and we were wondering like did we order that much? When the bill came we checked over the order, we had brought to the waiters attention that we had only ordered 1 daebak combos like we ordered but they marked us down for 2 daebak combos. So then it had went to the manager attentions and them checking over the cameras to double check that we weren't making any mistake. They had brought us 2 daebak combos and the waiter had apologized for the misunderstanding on their behalf. Nothing was done on their end but make us pay for something that was clearly not our party's mistake and on top of that already have added on 20% gratuity. Overall our bill came out to $500 then adding the 20% gratuity was $100. Us getting slapped with an additional daebak combo that we did not order and plus $100 for tip that should not even have been tipped. I find it very unprofessional on how it was handled and the service that we were all provided. This experience that we all went through definitely made us never to go back there...

This place does not disappoint. For most of my party, it was kind of like doing a tutorial throughout the entire meal lol. Regardless of that, they loved everything! Our servers were patient and really cool with us. I love that they can accommodate purple with many different dietary needs. So my vegan, vegetarian and omnivorous family and friends were satisfied. If I had a negative at all, it would be that they offered more seafood options and demonstrated how to use and cook in the grill. They said they would start it for us and then we'd take over however most of us were on our own until the saw us struggling lol. It was still great though, and we had a great time. Be mindful that your gratuity is included, but...
ย ย ย Read moreUnfortunately the menu description does not match the items that are made. For example, the Asian Grilled Chicken salad came with fake crab and (real) flying fish roe, and with raisins instead of cranberries. If one of our allergies had been to seafood, we would have been S.O.L. This was one of several discrepancies, some minor, all annoying. Since we have allergies and order take out, we did not discover the errors until we were home. This happened each time we tried the restaurant. The allergies we have mean we depend heavily on the menu description and the advice of the person taking the orders to make good choices.
Also, the food was greasy (tempura and gyoza) and the Don Katsu pork was so thin it was more than 50% panko coating, with not much meat.
The Chap-Chae was...
