Myomee Cafe — Restaurant in Southfield

Let's start with the good things: the bubble tea tasted amazing! I had a chai tea with tapioca pearls and it was so good! However, the customer service over the phone was very poor. We called to see where the place was located and the person initially answering the phone told us to "go to the website." When we asked for the cross streets, she didn't know and talked to her coworkers. She then told us they were on Northwestern Highway and when we told her that we needed the cross streets, she was unable to tell us. The manager was put on the phone and he told us they were on Northwestern Highway and 11 Mile. We then suggested that they go over their cross street location in the next manager meeting and the manager said we were being rude. When we said that they wouldn't be getting our business, the manager said that they didn't need our business. I felt this was extremely unprofessional. Whoever it is should not manage others because this person has an extremely short fuse. If these people don't know their location then they should be made aware of it...

This is hands down my favorite boba tea shop in Southfield. I always order the Dalgona Tea with Oatmilk, it’s my go-to drink and never disappoints. The ambiance is cozy, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming.

I do wish they would expand their menu to include Japanese and Korean desserts; it would be the perfect addition to complement their drinks. I think it would also make the place even more enjoyable, especially for kids and families.

Speaking of kids, there’s a fun gotcha ball machine right outside the café that keeps them entertained. Right next to the shop, there’s a K-pop store filled with Korean and Japanese merchandise, which adds to the whole vibe.

To top it all off, there’s a Korean restaurant/barbecue spot right beside it, and just across the street, you’ll find a Korean grocery store stocked with all kinds of Asian products and fresh produce. It’s really a one-stop destination to hang out, grab a drink, enjoy good food, shop, and explore.

Definitely recommend paying with cash. Otherwise you’ll get double charged and have to wait a long time for a refund or even to get in contact with… anyone helpful. And their phone line doesn’t work right now when you try to call. Probably because they don’t want to take accountability. This review doesn’t mean much, but this affects peoples’ bills. My sister couldn’t afford to pay for what we bought twice, yet she did even AFTER she showed the workers at the cafe that she already had a pending charge. They made her swipe her card again regardless. Manager has been in Chicago and unreachable. This happened to multiple people. They need to figure something out because this is completely unacceptable. It’s a shame because I love the products at the store. Get...
