I called days before for a couples message. We got there and they asked us again what we wanted as if they never wrote it down. The communication was so bad it was extremely hard to understand. So they added the wrong service. What I was immediately upset is after filling out their sheet asking what type of message, a human diagram in what you DONT want touch and what you want FOCUS on(very simple info sheet) immediately as my message started she worked on what I asked NOT to I had to remind her based off my info sheet and NO focus on what I asked to. The two women were talking to each other and laughing many times⦠so not relaxing for us.. she would rub my rather than messaging.. there were no specific pinpoints as if she had no idea what she was doing. My husband and I multiple times asked to not go so hard.. this is for ārelaxationā not a sports message as stated on their info sheet.., they continued. We hurt for the worst the rest of the evening. A day later we hurt in places we never did to begin with⦠this would be dangerous for anyone pregnant. they added a foot scrub instead of additional foot message.. they were scrubbing the top part of our feet and it HURT as this is the soft skin your foot..$200 wasted⦠we needed a message the next day to fix the damage they caused. I would not trust this place sadly in beautiful Southlake but looks are not everything. communication is key and if others can get it right verbally and this place canāt even with me saying and writing it down...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have traditionally avoided massages.I have consistently been disappointed with the experience, and could never appreciate their popularity or benefit. I found them uncomfortable, not relaxing and often painful. I was discussing this with a friend, who had had similar experiences--until he came to your spa and received a Swedish massage from Lisa. He explained that it completely transformed his view of massage, and he encouraged me to go to your spa and request her, and her alone. He was so enthusiastic, and convinced that I too would have a similarly positive experience, that he offered to reimburse me if the session did not in any way live up to his representations. I agreed, but only reluctantly--my previous massage encounters having been so unsatisfactory. I drove a half an hour to your spa, honestly dreading what I would experience. My friend, despite his praise for Lisa, did not do justice to her skill. It was THE VERY FIRST TIME I have ever enjoyed a massage. I couldn't believe it. I'm not sure I have ever felt as relaxed in my life. There was no discomfort--only a calming sensation that quickly enveloped me. I didn't want it to end, and didn't want to leave. I can't get the experience out of my mind, and am committed to repeating it as often as I can. Lisa is a gift--a rare talent. Congratulations on having such a gifted individual...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went in for a massage and said I liked deep pressure when asked. However my therapist was very light handed and was just lightly rubbing oil on me for 30 minutes even though I asked her for deeper pressure several times. She just kept rubbing her knuckles up and down my back in the same way, she had no technique that was remotely helpful to my body. I could hear two voices in the room which I thought was strange, and the therapist clearly didn't know what she was doing. I finally spoke out and asked to come back another day because the massage was so bad, the other lady in the room (who was probably over seeing her) said she would take over for the last 30 minutes and did a decent job. But she started the massage over again, so I paid for an hour massage and had to ask her to spend a few mins on my neck that hadn't been touched. The girl was clearly in training and I don't think it was appropriate for me to have to pay for the entire hour when I really only got 30 minutes of a real massage. It was also just weird to have two people...
