Not a good experience today at all...The usual young lady at register was nice and I asked for a flat bottom grind on my French Roast purchase and also ordered a Sausage Egg Cheese sandwich...the ground coffee showed up promptly and I made sure she had turned in my sandwich order ..she confirmed and reminded the guy at the counter again...there were a couple orders in front of me but then folks who had been behind me started getting their orders and they even commented that he had probably forgotten mine...it is now over 15 mins since I paid for my orders.. So I walked up to him and asked him for my Sausage Egg and Cheese..he rummaged in the drawer and puts a sandwich in the oven for me.... he gives it to me and I take it out on the patio to enjoy this nice Saturday morning...I open the wrapper and it is not the sandwich I ordered....he sausage is missing...so it take it back in to him and politely asked him for the right sandwich..he says " oh? You wanted sausage on it? " ..he rummages in the drawer again..." We are out of sausage..." ..then turns his back on me...NO Sorry or any concern for my disappointment...I left the store... I will never go back there if I have to see that rude and inept person again. Not the usual Starbucks standard I am used to...
Read moreToday was the day of my ACT, and I needed a little energy booster before I went to go take the test. I wanted to be early to the testing center, so I decided to go to a Starbucks that was near the school I was testing at. I am not from the Southlake area, but every time I go to Southlake Town Square, Central Market, etc., I usually feel pretty welcome. When I went to this certain Starbucks location, I did not feel welcome at all. I stood at the cash register for a good 6-8 minutes waiting on the two baristas, who were at busy at the moment(which was fine with me). But when one the baristas was not busy anymore, he did not tend to me. Another teenage girl walked in and they striked up a conversation together. He kept on talking to her and then walked up to the cashier to take HER order. I was slightly offended because I was waiting for a good amount of time and all of a sudden he is willing to tend to someone who just walked in. I am usually not sensitive to these situations, and may be I am just being naive and immature about this situation, but I am honestly disappointed with the service...
Read moreMan this one is an old style building. Like 1990s style layout when starbucks was first expanding and people said "why do we need a coffee shop when I have a machine at home?" It legitimately reminds me of the coffee shop in Friends.
But this store in particular has had some REAL talent go through it since I started visiting back in '07. Multiple managers who are a joy to interact with and who remember your name and what you do, and they all get tagged by starbucks to manage new stores and move their careers forward eventually. They maintain that feeling to this day.
Not many places to work that aren't on and bar style of table, but they have a few square tables. They just get taken up...
