Dr Hagman is wonderful. Very nice and Jokes around to make the patients more comfortable. All of this said, I've had treatments and don't feel a difference as of yet. I'm sure it is because I wasn't able to get it completed. The head nurse or office manager, not sure of her title,is nice unless you have the pleasure of her speaking over you. Because of her inability to stop talking and listen there was an argument, yes an argument between her and I about something that had NOTHING to do with my appointment I was calling to schedule. It felt as if I was being blocked from speaking with the dr. It's very unfortunate that I cannot finish my treatments there because of her. I feel like this clinic has literally walked away and left me with painful swollen legs that they have no intention of helping me with. If she had only been able to LISTEN rather than talk over a scared patient there would have been no argument as we weren't even discussing the same thing. If you plan to go here I just suggest preparing yourself to be on your own with unanswered questions and a woman who has a NEED to "be right" rather than looking out for your...
Read moreWhat a difference! With a measure of skepticism, I made an appointment with Vein Clinics of America Southlake. I'm so glad that I did. In less than 4 months my legs have undergone a transformation. Prior to the procedures, increasingly painful varicose veins kept me from standing for more than 10 minutes at a time. This is no longer the case. How do I know? I have an example as recent as last week. After a six hour international flight, I was able to stand for over an hour waiting to clear Customs. Historically, a trip like last week would have resulted in a pain score of 20 on a 1-10 scale. Due to the recent procedures I can easily assign a pain level of 5. And I'm still in my recovery process! I highly recommend Dr. Oswalt and the staff of Vein Clinics of America in Southlake for anyone experiencing varicose...
Read moreThe sonogram technician at this location is rude and unprofessional. Will not explain procedure and is annoyed by patient's questions. Not an isolated instance, either. Procedure is not progressing as initially explained by the doctor. Too much pain and inflammation on treated leg. Feeling worse than before treatment and been told that it can take up to a year before I feel better. That's not what I was told during the initial consultation. Besides ALL that, I was overcharged more than $200 and months later, I am still waiting for reimbursement! Needless to say, I will not be having my other leg treated there. I will find a reputable vascular specialist or surgeon. Bad experience from...
