It’s been a couple of months since I updated my reviews, and I have yet to hear a response from Men’s Wearhouse about ANY of them. They obviously don’t care about our input, so I guess that means they either don’t want our business, or our opinion doesn’t matter, or they do not look at social media. Too bad, I guess we will find a different establishment to spend our next $1000 in.
Ok, time for an update after the last terrible review. My husband picked up 2 suits and one jacket a couple of days ago, after they finished correcting the poor tailoring that had previously been done to every piece in the group. He is satisfied and hopefully we won’t have to return for further corrections. We appreciate everything the manager did to help my husband, and we were happy that he agreed they had done a poor job on each of the items. Hopefully he will make necessary changes there so no one else needs to go through what we did.
I sadly need to update my review AGAIN, because we took one of my husband’s suits that we purchased from the Men’s Wearhouse in Olympia, Washington into the one on Southlake Blvd. to be tailored, because he had lost 60 pounds since first purchasing it. When we got home and he wanted to wear it, he couldn’t because it was so poorly tailored, AND the brand new suit we had just purchased not too long ago that had to be re-tailored, had to be fixed AGAIN, because the first tailor job was so poorly done. Yikes! He took both suits back and the manager helped him, and the manager agreed that both suits were incorrectly tailored. We have made 3 or 4 trips back there so far and he STILL doesn’t have his suits back. Wow, we’ve probably spent over $1000 on everything we’ve purchased from Men’s Wearhouse and I doubt we’ll buy anything new from them unless they make serious changes to either their staff, the training of the staff, or both!
The following is my first update to my first review: I need to update my review for this location of Men’s Wearhouse, because we went to pick up my husband’s very expensive suit, and when he tried on his suit it didn’t fit. All they had to do was shorten the sleeves, and the suit is partly wool. Wr don’t know what they did, but we aren’t very happy. We had to leave on our long planned vacation, and when we finally get home and pick it up it had better be perfect.
The following was my original review: We needed to buy my husband a suit and a blazer jacket last week, and decided to go to the Men’s Wearhouse in Southlake, based on it’s location to our home, and the reviews that I read on Google Maps. The Sage Meadow Trail location was a little closer to our home, and we do most of our other shopping in that area, but their Google reviews are horrible. We received excellent service at the Southlake store and found what we needed. Alex(ander) took great care of my husband and he looks fantastic in both his new blue suit and his new blue blazer. My husband has a suit that we purchased from Mens Wearhouse in Washington State 30 years ago, and it still looks brand new. We will be taking that suit in to be tailored since he lost almost 50 pounds. We even found a dress shirt on sale for $9.99 that was...
Read moreTo whom it may concern, I have now visited this location twice to get a suit fitted for my date to prom. To encapsulate both of my experiences briefly: the staff is far too opinionated and frankly rude by default of their lack of knowledge concerning customer service. Well the first time we visited, the young man that was helping us had way too far of a big mouth voicing his opinion before even letting us, the customer, allow us to give him a preference for what we were looking for. The second time however had a little different dynamic in that another young man, RJ, was helping us along with a man named Bryant. The young man had a witty persona which was fine at first until he had used it as an ice breaker and become a little too personable. This only became a problem when he would insist on all his opinions. That were one, unprofessional, and two, irrelevant, due to his lack of reference to the look i was seeking for specifically. Now to start with Bryant. He had a good professionalism and seemed very experienced with regards to the physical suits ( fits, color, brand etc. ). Despite him giving us the wrong suit from the one we asked for at first. Later on his agitation grew more apparent. His remarks throughout the entirety seemed as if they came from an annoyed attitude. More so, when i went back to look for a better suiting tie for my dress than he had given me he insisted that it was best disregarding my initial remark. Later on when we were checking out he become more impatient. When we asked what the returning policy was he was quick to say “ARE YOU HAVING SECOND THOUGHTS” as opposed to politely answering the question rather than assuming the prejudice of where the question derived from. Later on when we asked about a coupon that we had. He immediately refuted our question and insisted that the deal we eventually paid for was better (which it was). The problem i came across here was the lack of explanation on Bryant’s part as to why the final price was what it was. He provided a very brief and vague explanation as to why my discount wasn’t a good option and i couldn’t use it. Nonetheless his impatience left no room for questioning leaving us far more confused due to his persistence. Overall, the sale seemed more important than the customer...
Read moreAfter dropping 70 pounds, I could not have been more excited to go and shop for suits and clothes. I went shopping on Labor Day, and I was immediately met with disappointment. Your store employees completely ignored me for 45 mins. Three separate times I was ignored for people that had just walked in to the door. The final time, I even made eye contact and signaled that I needed help to an associate ringing up another customer behind the counter. When that customer left, another walked in the door and AGAIN, I was skipped over and ignored. I loudly announced "Screw this!" and walked out the door. I guess I am too fat for your store. Perhaps I didn't look like I couldn't afford to purchase anything. I will never shop in your store again (and I used to shop here). I am embarrassed, and I simply feel like I am not good enough for your associates. I still feel so small and insignificant after this visit. When I started, I was excited to shop, as I am finally lost enough weight to be able to fit in normal clothes. I guess I am not, and your reps can see that when I walk in the door. Why else would you turn away a customer just standing there. The way I was treated is honestly depressing. I will never forget the way this made me feel. You...
