I was in your Southlake location earlier today (June 25, 2022, before 1:30pm) and witnessed something appalling and kind at the same time. I was looking around and overheard a conversation between two of your employees and a young girl checking out. Apparently the young girl trying to pay didn't have ID and young lady that was checking her out had called over a manager who was a much older woman and that old woman literally went off on the young girl for not having an ID with her. I was appalled at the way the older woman yelled at this young girl almost like she was trying to discipline her. It took everything in my being not to step up and say anything but I didn't want to embarrass the young girl any further. The audacity in which that older woman spoke to that girl is astounding. The young girl checking her out apologized for the way the older woman spoke to her and tried to her best to make sure she felt welcomed back, despite the way she was talked too. I would normally give a one star review; however, the steps following the bad behavior by the little cashier should be acknowledged. Kudos to her and shame on that older woman.    Read moreI recently visited your store and was already very apprehensive about making a decision for a pair of shoes for my daughter. Being the father of a 21 year old brings enough stress to my life without the added stress of picking out a pair of shoes that were not just totally embarrassing. I went to the shoe department still apprehensive about being able to make any kind of choice I ran across one of your employees her name was Alex she asked what I was looking for and I responded I have no idea. All I told her was I was needing a pair of shoes for a 21 year old daughter. She said I believe I can help you out I picked out a couple different choices and she explained me those might not be the best choice after taking pictures of them and sending them to my daughter and said this is what Iâm picking out for you she asked me not to buy her shoes . Alex picked out a pair and said I would like these taking a picture of the shoes and sending it to my daughter she said who picked those out for me I know it wasnât you because I like them. I just want to say without the help of Alex dad wouldâve been a failure again. Once again thank you for the help from Alex she saved a dad on his little girls birthday. I just pray next time I need something...

Carlos, the store manager, was incredibleâso welcoming, upbeat, and genuinely interested in helping us find what we needed. He made us feel right at home the second we walked in. You can tell he takes pride in his store and his team, and it shows in how smoothly everything runs.
And then thereâs Elijah in the shoe departmentâwhat a gem! He fitted both me and my 14-year-old daughter for hiking shoes and sandals, asking all the right questions about where we were going and what kind of terrain weâd be on. His knowledge and patience made the whole process a dream.
We walked out completely prepped for our trip and feeling so well taken care of. Tylerâs in Southlake is a must-visitâgreat gear, great team, and a level of service thatâs hard to find these days....
