I just returned from this post office and decided to share my experience with unpleasant clerk Anthony, the "big guy or some people call him "muscle man". I arrived at 330pm with a money order, less than $100 and ask Anthony to cash it. I am not sure if he had a bad day or that's the way he is all the times. I was told by Anthony to go to my bank and cash it there because he doesn't have any cash in his register. Then I ask him if he could ask the other two clerks if they they can possibly cash my money order, but he told me to ask them myself. I guess end of the day, tired, maybe my accent or maybe even the t-shirt I was wearing made him not willing to help me. My money order was cashed by another clerk, Andrew, who was very professional, helpful and pleasant. Wish this post office had more clerks like him. Two thumbs up for Andrew.

USPS - Southlake Thank you Ms. Rachel at the passport department. It was worth the wait. She AMAZING 🤩 You are a true hero! I was a walk-in and thought I would not get in but she took me in. Thank you! She is so nice…intimidating, perhaps, but don’t judge a book by the cover. Once your inside and she speaks, she blossoms. Keep up the great work Ms. Rachel! Thank you for being you ♥️🫶🏼 Here are some TIPS If you make an appointment arrive early-10 minutes. Have your paperwork ready and filled out. They are on a time crunch. 15 minutes per person so come prepared. If you are late don’t expect to get in. You may ask “why?”, because it’s disrespectful not only to them, but to all who are waiting for a walk-in appointment and hoping someone doesn’t show up so they can get this done. Don’t be rude or sassy to to them, like the two ladies that were late and rude to everyone.

HINT your paperwork should say GENDER (male or female) if on the form it has 3 options of gender you will have to fill out your paperwork again. At the bottom of the form it should have the year 2020, and only 2 gender options, Male and Female. I had one that I got at the state department dated 4- 2022 and because of the gender options on the application I had to redo my application. New 2025 law…don’t take it out on the USPS workers. They follow the law, they are not the lawmakers.

Walk-In/ Non Appointments: Be patient, prepare to wait. There is no guarantee you will get in however if you get there early, before 10am, high possibility. I arrived at 10am and walked in at 12:55pm. Be nice, put your phone down and talk to the people waiting for the same thing. It calms the nerves...

Anthony is absolutely insufferable talk about a terrible first impression. I arrived at the location about five minutes before closing, just needing to grab a voter registration form. There were three people ahead of me, and I joined the line. A few minutes later, Anthony loudly announces, “We close in three minutes,” as if to suggest he wouldn’t serve anyone once the clock struck six, even those of us already in line. Not sure if he knows this, but if a customer is inside before closing, they’re entitled to service. When he asked what each of us was there for, I told him I just needed a voter registration form. He immediately responded that they didn’t have any in English, only in a foreign language. I decided to wait my turn anyway.

The man in front of me handed Anthony a letter, and when Anthony asked if he was just dropping it off, the man said he needed to buy stamps or something. Anthony scoffed and let out the most dramatic sigh right in front of the customer, while the rest of us watched. If Anthony hates his job that much, I’d honestly prefer he leave the position altogether. His energy is unbearable and gross to be around. I ended up going to the Grapevine location instead. They didn’t have the forms either, but I was treated with kindness, respect, and allowed to ask questions without being rushed or dismissed. That will be my go-to location...

I don’t normally review places at all, but this place sucked so bad that I really just had to say something and warn others. My girlfriend and I had come to this post office about FOUR times just for our passports. Their passport office had said it closed at 4pm everyday, so we came back at 2pm the next day. One of the postal workers had told us that they closed early. They also kept changing the hours of which they told us the office is supposed to close. The next day, my girlfriend called at 11 to see if they were open and they said they were, so we drove all the way up there for them to be closed around late 12. Best chance is to get there between 8-10am because it seems that they only like to stay open for about 2 hours. The process of getting the passports was pretty smooth but hassle of the post office and the passport office (closing earlier than they should) was almost so much of a hassle that it wasn’t worth it. This placed sucked. They really just make up the rules and the hours and do what they want there. My friend had also texted me today saying he got there at 10:32am and the passport office was already closed. Lmao what a joke. This place really sucks, man. Godspeed to anyone else who finds themselves at this location looking...
