I have some mixed feelings with this place. The people are great and sweet and the salon itself is very up to date regarding technology and comfort. But here is my problem I went in for a Keratin treatment, I got the KPCMAX two weeks ago. The day I washed it (after waiting the 24 hours as I was told) my hair was frizzy and puffy and not at all straight or soft. So I called them and they put me in contact with someone in charge, I'm not sure if it was the owner or the manager, and they scheduled me to go in so the manager could see it in person and tell me her opinion. I had both the manager and one of the stylists (Her name is Charity, I believe) Charity was great and kind and she explained to me that the treatment I had done (KPCMAX) was not as strong, she said that some others have had the same results and were not happy with it and that she herself tried a different treatment (NKST) and that it had worked great for her hair and that it was very straight for a few months (which is exactly what I asked for the first time I came in to the store to get the treatment done) and that it actually last longer (5 months with NKST vs 3 months with KPCMAX). The manager said it was soft and that I was not gonna get the straight hair I was looking for with this treatments. After consulting, they scheduled me again to come in today and get the NKST instead with a different stylist. It is worth saying that they saw my hair after I straightened at home, so it was much softer and that's what they noticed and what they based their thoughts on it as you would expect, my mistake. I went in today and got the NKST done. The stylist I had was great, she paid attention to details and was making sure to follow the instructions so that I could have better results this time. It all was fine until it was time for me to walk out the door and they told me my total was the full price for the treatment, I was surprised. Then their manager walks in and they asked her what to do and she said "the treatment worked the first time but you were not satisficed it is not that we did something wrong, so normally you would pay the full price (200 dollars) but we can give you half off" and so I paid and I was too frustrated to explain this to her. This is why I think it was their mistake and so I shouldn't have had to pay. If the first stylist had had a little more knowledge about the products they use she would have probably made a better judgment call and done the NKST from the beginning saving me and all the others, that took their time to look at my hair, time and money. But instead, I got the less efficient, shorter term and apparently not the right treatment to achieve what I had asked, so I came in today thinking it was their mistake and they were gonna help and fix it but ended up paying 100 dollars more making it a total of 300 dollars for this treatment. Read moreupdate: all hours of the day is an odd term for business hours. I hope you figure out how to use your system. Responding to a review rather than my text is also a weird choice. I honestly hate leaving bad reviews as I’ve worked in customer service in some way my entire professional career. The communication and lack of follow through is despicable. They need to figure their system out. I came in almost two weeks ago because they were offering $35 blow and style to celebrate their year open. A few days after my service a realized they charged me twice for my service. Mistakes happen so I called and advised them on this. I received a partial refund so I called again about the difference. This is when they told me they had no record of that transaction and that the card they used ended in different numbers. To my surprise I found they charged me a THIRD time on a different card. This card I was sadly not expecting use on as it was at its limit and I will now have to pay fees for their mistake. Again humans make mistakes but even after sending screenshots and communicating over the phone and text more than three times over a week goes by with their response still being “we are looking into it, we only see the one charge”. This morning they finally agreed to refund the card they weren’t authorized to use and since they can’t refund the tips (which is why I received a partial refund for the first double charge) they offered to Venmo me the difference. Even after all the times I had to run down the charges and what they owe me they still were not accounting for the initial difference they owed me from the first partial refund. All the while the communication wasn’t apologetic or looking and offering solutions they simply kept arguing they didn’t see it. At one point even stating that I still had to pay for my service as if after charging me THREE times I was some how trying to get something out of them! They said we will Venmo the amount I told them they owed me not because that’s what they owed me but because “they wanted to be done with this”. I won’t return simply because they don’t care about my business enough to even pull out a calculator nor treat me with respect when THEY made a mistake. I am still out on fees for my card. The staff was incredibly kind and did an excellent job of making my friends and I feel comfortable! They made us delicious drinks of our choice to sip on why we enjoyed our blow outs!
