This place is my new favorite sushi place. I've been watching the doors closely to open here, and I happened to notice it was opened yesterday, so we stopped in. Other restaurants should look to this staff for how their service should be. They weren't just friendly. They were aware, they made us feel welcome. They even gave us a choice of sushi on the house. They understand the most fundamental concept of sushi, which is that it is art and that it's not just something you slap together in a clump of oily unwashed rice and wrap in seaweed because you spent two and a half years living in Japan and thought it tasted good so now you know everything about how to cook it. No! This place gets it. This place is by far the best sushi that I have had in Utah (keeping in mind that there's only far you can go with sushi in Utah). This place has figured out how to do that. I was pleasantly surprised and more with my visit there. For those of you who hate sushi, they have sushi for you. I tried the Four of a kind roll and my dining companion who hates sushi, liked this roll. Their ramen dishes are spot on. There is flavor in this restaurant, which I found to be refreshing in a county loaded by dime a dozen sushi restaurants that reek of greed rather than understanding of flavor. Well done!...
Read moreI thought I’ll try this place since it had just opened and hoped that it can be better than the other one sushi place in Spanish. I guess I had too high of an expectation and was expecting food that was made by Grandma’s hands with love and modern day customer service. The miso soup had no umami and little to no tofu, however it did have some flavor to it. Best thing that came with the bento box was the salad, it was fresh and crispy, unfortunately I wasn’t too thrilled about the rest of the items. I was most dissatisfied with the tempura, the veggies were fine but the shrimp tempura were breaded and not battered like the rest of the veggies and the dipping had no flavor. I haven’t tried their specialty sushi’s but unfortunately if you can’t get your miso soup right…🫤 Customer service wasn’t the best although the food did come out quickly. The water did not check on me or asked to refill my water through out my meal.
If you want great service and better sushi I would recommend Goong Korean BBQ in Springville. All the food there is delicious and you can taste the love they put in their food. Service is freakin awesome and you will be well...

They were incredibly generous with their portions, and that alone is worth five stars in my book. Each piece was beautifully cut, melt-in-your-mouth fresh, and bursting with flavor.
Their sushi rolls? Just as impressive. While it’s been about a month since our visit and I can’t recall the exact rolls we ordered, I vividly remember being delighted by every bite. One roll in particular had a bright, citrusy twist that really stood out—it was a refreshing, creative touch.
As a lovely bonus, since we visited during their opening week, they treated us to complimentary edamame that was absolutely top-notch—perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.
All in all, for a sushi restaurant in Spanish Fork, this place is a gem. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. We’re truly lucky to have them in town! And for sushi lovers, it’s complimentary of Nori in American Fork, which had always been our favorite go-to sushi restaurant in all of...
