J.Dawgs — Restaurant in Spanish Fork

I’m not a huge hot dog person but a couple of weeks ago it sounded good, so I came to this location and got the beef dog and fries. Let me tell you that the fries are INCREDIBLE! Like I crave them weekly now. They’re so good by themselves but the fry sauce adds a nice touch. The hot dog is also the best hot dog I’ve ever had in my life. I came again today and the food was just as good as the last time and the service both times has been incredible. I went through the drive thru today and Amanda said it would take a couple of minutes for my fries to be done and she asked me if I wanted a drink while I waited. This was SO nice! Road tripping across the US and stumbled across J.Dawgs. It had me at homemade sauce and locally baked buns. These dogs are no joke, you get quite a lot for the price. The staff around 7p was super friendly and quickly had my dog ready.

The bun was wonderfully soft but with enough bite and hold to keep everything together. The homemade sauce complemented the toppings and made me appreciate the all natural beef frank even more than I should.

I'm a self proclaimed hot dog guru, I love to visit local hot dog establishments everywhere I go. J. Dawgs was definitely in the top tier with their no frills small menu but superb attention to detail. I want to share our experience with J Dawgs in Spanish Fork. We had a especially busy day going from our home to Logan for a family reunion and then to Spanish Fork for a celebration before driving back home. My daughter gets car sick constantly and we have some natural things we do to prevent it but sometimes only Coke will help. We get to the celebration 2.5 hours late and the last bit of Coke is taken by someone in front of her. My husband goes to J Dawgs to get some Coke and the person asked if that was all he was getting. When the person finds out my daughter is feeling sick and needs a Coke, the person says it's on the house.
